“Stopped at this food truck for lunch after a beach morning in Maluaka. Not much to look at and no benches or washrooms at this food truck spot (as it is just by the side of the rode) but the food was delicious and reasonably priced! Loved the fish and al pastor tacos 🌮“

“I came here a few times during my first trip to Hawai'i. Wonderful little shaved ice shop with great, delicious choices at a good price and friendly workers. There was a wait which is understandable with 2-ish people working at a busy time of day but even then the wait was never too long.“

“This is the best shaved ice (that I know of) in the world. Although it isn’t shaved ice (its baobing, the Chinese take on shaved ice), the combination of all the toppings and the price point make it truly delicious. Other places for shaved ice in Maui cost $5 per cup, and the cups are minuscule. Here, the share size Sunset baobing costs $13 dollars and six people couldn’t finish it. It came with popping boba, mochi, fresh strawberries, and a surprise of ice cream in the middle. This combination satisfied everyone in the group and filled everyone up for a good price! Best of all, there was no line nor wait, and our baobing came out instantly!“

“Every visit to Maui my wife and I wound up at kohola brewery on many nights! Why? Great atmosphere, delicious beer (Waterman our favorite), and - most of all - a warm & welcoming people!! Also, music which ranged in quality from fantastic to …not good, all of which made kohola our favorite pub on Maui!!!“

Yes, it takes a while for your order to come up, but that’s because EVERYTHING is made fresh to order. The wait is so worth it. We were in Maui for 6 days and we came by at least 3 or 4 times. The kids even asked if we could make it the last stop on our way to the airport. Worth the trip - go check them out.“

“Decided to splurge a little and treat myself and family to a nice breakfast in wailea. As locals we have our usual spots but decided to give this place a try since there was a kamaaina special. We weren’t disappointed. I had my fill of smoked salmon, ahi poke, bacon, and eggs benny (all buffet so that was a plus). Kiddos had everything and the wife really enjoyed the atmosphere. Not stuffy, great staff (Venus was our server) and the kamaaina was a plus. Coming back again.“

“We had our Montana State U FCS Div. 1 National championship party at Diamonds and they knocked it out of the ballpark for us! Holly and the crew at diamonds made great food and drinks in spectacular and accommodating environment. We had over 40 people and they made it work with multiple TV’s and sound. It was a great time! Highly recommend diamonds whether it’s a large group or just a small group needing to watch a specific game.“

“My 98 year old Dad and I wanted something new to try...Dad had a crispy ceasar with fresh mahi and I had the BEST hot dog ever. Juicy, cheesy, cooked to perfection. The homemade potato salad was delectable. Service was excellent and friendly.
