We got the Grilled Mahi-mahi and Jumbo Shrimp tacos BOTH times, they were that good. The only place we ate at twice our entire trip. I'm going to be dreaming about the tacos forever, and probably comparing all future fish tacos to them.

“Absolutely the best Animal Fries & chicken Caesar wrap I’ve ever had. The fries are better than In & Out, they are crunchy and the sauce and onion are so flavorful, I couldn’t stop eating them! The Wrap had moist chicken and a tasty Caesar and grilled tortilla! My Husband loved the Buffalo wings! The owner is so sweet! Please come support him!“

The owner is so lovely, his name is Ji, and he runs the place with his wife. I got the iced matcha with guava and coconut cream foam…yes, it was as good as it sounds! “Absolute must-try when you're in Maui!

Sol Brothers Southern BBQ, run by the wonderful Saul and Sonya, completely delivered today. We ordered the Brisket plate and the Rib plate and both were outstanding.

The ribs came glazed in a rich, sticky, perfectly balanced BBQ sauce that clung to every bite. Tender, smoky, and messy in the best way. Paired with creamy mac & cheese and a soft Hawaiian roll...pure comfort food.

The brisket was next-level. Beautiful smoke ring, a thick peppery bark, and that perfect pink smoke ring throughout. Sliced nice and thick, super juicy, and packed with flavor. The sides of mac & cheese and baked beans rounded it out perfectly, plus a little cup of their sauce on the side.

Everything was generous, cooked with real care, and tasted like it came from people who genuinely love what they do. Sonia is friendly, welcoming, and clearly proud of their food.

“Stopped by the Kihei Food Truck Park after seeing it driving by a couple nights ago. It turns out Vidads has the (strangely) elusive garlic noodles we’ve been searching for! And at so much better of a price than anywhere else on the island! The garlic noodles were incredible and the beef on top was mouthwatering.
