“Great food truck!Got the chorizo, al pastor and fish tacosThe chorizo were decent chorizo tacos nothing to cry home about though.The al pastor tacos were a very well done taco that were quite delicious.The stars of the show however were the fish tacos, the fish was excellently cooked with nice char and smoke flavor with an awesome mango salsa and crema.10/10 we'll be coming back in the next few days.“
“Best food truck in Maui, hands down. Best Birria tacos I've ever had. We came from the Bay Area where we have tons of good taco trucks and Mexican food in general, but this beats them all. We were here in July and had to come back again today. We brought friends with us and they also loved everything. Elote in a cup was so flavorful! Joey is amazing and always great talking to him. “After being in Maui 3 weeks wanted some authentic Mexican food. This place hit the spot. My mahi fish tacos were fresh n tasty. My hubs order the burrito very good too. Prices were very reasonable. $30 ish for 2 dinners and big big portions we couldn't finish lol. Salsa was good too. Owner was kind. Try it you won't be disappointed.“

“What a cool place. The Mahi Mahi wrap was amazing and the prices are the best on Maui. Service was great and we watched Monday night football, NHL and NBA. We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: My wife had the vegetarian taco salad and loved it.“

“My Family and I were at dinner at Fred's tonight and during or dinner another guest fainted on me. My uncle and I provided assistance until the victim regained consciousness, with Fred's employees helping to call 911 and then get the firefighters who took over care for the individual. To our surprise, at the end of the evening, Shannon, a manager at Fred's, comped our family's meals and also extended the gesture to the victim's family without any request from us. Thank you Shannon and the rest of Fred’s employees for taking quick actions to help the victim.“

“Came here late in the afternoon. Was delighted. A lot of authentic Mexican food that is really well done. My wife is gluten free and I'm vegetarian and there were a ton of options for both of us that were clearly labeled.Restaurant is relatively small tucked away in a retail area but service was good and the food was probably the 2nd best meal I had in Maui. My wife also loved her horchata and coffeeVegetarian options: Nearly every dish or plate has a vegetarian option instead of meat. Menu is expensive and virtually all can be made vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Wife is gluten free and the menu is clearly labeled and has dozens of options for gluten free folks which is a nice surprise.“
“Love this little gem. We go here often and recently had a party of 8. Our table was ready and we were cordially greeted as always. Service was awesome and the food is very reasonably priced and excellent. Feels like home.Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Easy free parking and great location. We regularly go here on car show nights and Kihei fourth Fridays.“
