The hot latte that I had for my own level of the espresso was quiet strong with a pretty nice touch decorated on top.
My husband had ice vanilla latte and he said it was really good.

“This is the infamous sherbet dessert of Maui. How can you not love this refreshing alternative to ice cream and yogurt?! There are just two flavors, strawberry and pineapple, but they do come out with a limited, special flavor every now and then, usually posted on their IG page.

Its not overly sweet nor filling. Choose from 1 to 5 scoops or a pint. They also pack them for inter-island flights. They no longer have azuke beans for a topping.

“One of the food trucks in the Maika’i market in the Maui Mall Village and possibly my favourite meal in Maui. Food is made to order so the pork was crispy, juicy and so tender. The fresh onion, tomato, and vinegar dipping sauce balanced the pork’s richness and fattiness beautifully. The people running it are friendly and clearly care that they are serving great food. Huge portion too - it served as both lunch and dinner! Would love to go back and try more things.“

“This is located right at the centre of Paia. We arrived just before closing time. We ordered the dutch chocolate, mango strawberry guava with li hing mui and lilikoi butter scoops. The ice cream was so rich, creamy and delicious. My wife remarked mango strawberry guava as the best ice cream she has ever had. The flavors were unique and very accurate. We would love to come back here.“

“This is our first time dining at this absolutely amazing Thai Restaurant as my very good friend chose it for its gluten free dishes. The first thing that really caught our attention immediately is the very unique and absolutely wonderful Thai Inspired decorations and memorabilia that adorned the entire restaurant followed by authentic Thai music playing through the speakers. My lovely friend ordered the Snow Crab Fried Rice and the Tom Kha Soup and I can absolutely tell you that it was so so delicious! Our Thai Lady server was absolutely wonderful and attentive and at the end of our amazing meal, she even brought us complimentary homemade Thai tapioca pudding which was so so Ono! A Very Big Mahalo to all the very hardworking staff at My Thai Maui and we will be back to order and eat more delicious food.“

“Restaurant Matsu is a true hidden gem and now officially one of my favorite spots on Maui! It came highly recommended by locals and now I see why.

As a big fan of udon soup, I had to try theirs with the tempura vegetables, and it did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful and comforting, and the tempura was perfectly crispy. I also grabbed a spamasubi (because, of course!), and it hit all the right notes; simple, satisfying, and packed with local flavor.

The menu is full of tempting options, so it’s definitely a place I’ll be revisiting to try more. The service was friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience even better.

“This is how you start your Maui trip. The mochiko chicken was amazing, but what really stole the show was the eggplant omelet. “Walk right past the long line at Starbucks and go here for your pre flight coffee. Even if not leaving from this terminal, it’s air conditioned, shorter wait, better coffee and a seating area where you can look over the West Maui mountains, weep over needing to leave and plan your next trip back.“

FOOD:
Chicken Katsu
While this is far from being a Korean dish, it's what I was craving. The two slabs of chicken were breaded and deep-fried to a golden brown, and laid out on 2 scoops of steamed white rice. You can choose 4 banchan sides, in which I got mac salad x2, bean sprouts, and potato mayo. Their katsu sauce is too sweet, which is why I always do takeout so I can use my Kagome-brand sauce from home lol.

Man Doo Kook Soo
This is a Korean version of ramen but was anything but. The rice noodles were a bit overcooked and didn't have any chewiness to it. I like them as a somen dish but not as a noodle soup. The broth was clear, very subtle in flavor, and tasted similar to egg drop soup. The bowl was topped with 4 good-sized pieces of soft mandoo with a tasty pork filling, egg washed shredded pork, and cooked white & green onions. Temperature was hot but not searing. Better than pho but it'd never dethrone a ramen in my world, lol.

SERVICE:
The workers were welcoming and friendly. I got my order in about 10 minutes.

Sandwiches are fresh, delicious, and big enough for the hearty appetite. There is a full bar here too that can serve local beers and crafty cocktails to enhance your meal. Dina's also offers some great hotdog recipes and everything on the menu can be ordered for either dine in or take-away. Located on the shore of Sugar Beach it is a convenient stop to grab a lunch to go or dine in for some cheerful service. Open daily from 11am to 10pm which also makes it a great place to grab an evening cocktail with friends after the beach or day of adventures. “Service, ambiance was Amazing. Food was very good , the only thing I can recommend is that the hot soba be steaming HOT in temperature. Mine came slightly hot /warm and because seating is outside it became warm fast. Otherwise it was a Great experience and we will definitely go back and just ask to have my hot soba steaming hot ❤️“
