“Great food! Wow we were impressed. A lot of plate lunch spots can be so repetitive but this one stood out.We got one of everything and didn’t regret it.Got the kalbi ribs , chicken, pork belly(taste like an amazing pork chop) and mahi w/creamy sauce and capers. We asked to get everything a lil more browned and he did and it was so tasty. My family of four(who are picky) loved it…not picky cause they don’t like anything but picky cause we cook so good at home, we’re not easily impressed.Lots of love was put into the food. Marinated , browned, and good portions. The only critique is that the fish could’ve used a dash more of salt but I understand that when it comes to fish you don’t want to over season so u can taste the fish. But it was still cooked really well, fresh and did enjoy it.We also enjoyed the little bit of Kimchi that was added, nice touch. And I think it was grilled? The Mac salad was bomb and so was the saimin was better than the norm. Had a bit of smokiness.We needed up get everything if u go.But There were a couple tables there.This spot didn’t have many reviews so we were hesitant but we’re really glad we went and we hope more people start going and support this food truck. We loved it. We live on Oahu but if we lived on island this would be one of our go to spots. The owner was super nice , friendly and helpful.Thanks chef! ?“

“We stopped in the morning for some coffee and tea. it was exceptional. Came back for lunch and ordered vegan Ubu burger and a grilled MOA with some fresh made iced tea, and hibiscus citrus tea. The staff was very informative and nice. We will be back.“

Since I am staying in the middle of the Kona coffee plantations, I went on a hunt for the best organic 100% Kona coffee today. So I found Pele Plantations just 5 minutes away from my Ohana. I was able to snag a private tour appointment cancellation...when I arrived nothing prepared me for the beauty of the plantation tour and the hospitality of Melanie and Vikram and of course the coffee. “Always a pleasure to get coffee here whenever we are on island. The staff make wonderful espresso drinks and they remember you even though it may have been a year since you visited last. Their egg salad sandwich is also phenomenal - better than some Japanese egg salad sandwiches I have had. Their avocado toast now bagel is also yummy! Everything we have had is tasty and it is always a go to whether for coffee related drinks, food or water! Seating available inside or out. Highly recommended!“

“We walked into the restaurant, asked for restrooms, we were told that restrooms are for guests only. We told the “ manager” that we wanted to order food. She sent us to the back. We found the restrooms with locked doors. We went back to her and asked for the key. She ignored us completely. We felt treated like animals. Will never go back there. We called the restaurant to complain and they hung up on us.“
