“Hands down phenomenal! Rosie was a great server and took great care of us. The lemonade was unbelievably good and the food was top tier. I'm glad that Kealakekua has a restaurant of this caliber. Get the party pack of sauces, you won't regret it.“
“This was an awesome experience for a (know-it-all) home roaster from Arkansas (me). I highly recommend the roasting tour to any coffee connoisseurs. Thanks for a great experience!“

“WOW! These are the best donuts I have ever had. We came here with our young family of 6 and started out with 6 donuts and ended up licking the box clean and got another 6. They are perfected, delicious but not too sweet so you can eat and eat! also they are not your regular donut so ask about the flavors!!“

“Think of a more local L&L’s, similar plates, less pricey, very filling, and more options! We ordered a teriyaki chicken plate for our two kids and split a seafood combo for dinner and we still had leftovers. Great portions, value, and open later than most places. Definitely recommend!“

“We had an amazing coffee flight tasting. Not only did we have coffee to sample but they did pairing with products that they make from the farm. Justin was our coffee tour guide. He was great. We also did their game trying to identify the oils by smelling them. It was the best experience for coffee tasting in Kailua Kona area. I highly recommend it.“

“We came to visit Kona and staying nearby, and thrilled to find this gem of a coffee stand. It is located outside and has an area to sit outside to drink your coffee or Matcha. Both of the owners are super friendly, and offer great suggestions for things to do or see. The coffee and Matcha is exceptional, smooth and so delicious. I like that they offer oat milk as an alternative as well. Absolutely worth it to check out this coffee shop. Plenty of parking and also other shops/stands to check out in the market area while you enjoy your coffee.“

“Clean tables, friendly staff, roomy and THE BEST WAFFLE WE EVER HAD!!!! Gotta do the CHANTILLY WAFFLE ! We loved the Big Island Grill so much, we went three times for breakfast during our vacay. Hubby LOVED the Loco Moco. I wish this restaurant existed in our town 💕 and seriously the chantilly waffle deserves an award ⭐️“

“Excellent Spot!
Mauha Bombs we're to die for!
So much poke and chips on top I couldn't even tell what it was! Thought they accidentally gave me the poke nachos.
Would highly recommend to anyone passing by at lunch hour“
“I was looking up ice cream spots near me during a stay this past week and saw all the glowing reviews and knew I had to try it. Went yesterday a few hours before my flight home and it did not disappoint. I had guava and passionfruit in sweet cream and it was fantastic! So so good. Owner was friendly and nice to chat with :) I only wish I could have tried more flavors but not a bad problem to have ;)“

“Won’t Disappoint!!!
We started our trip here—and made sure to end it here too. The Holiday Burger was an incredible surprise, packed with amazing flavors. The Ultimate Cheeseburger was pure perfection: unbelievably juicy and absolutely delicious.
If you’re traveling to Kona, this spot is a must-visit. It may be tucked away in a strip mall, but don’t let that fool you—it’s 100% worth it. Hands down, the best burger I’ve ever had!
Thank you for the fantastic food and excellent service. 🌟“

“This was the culinary highlight of our trip to the big island! Sam and Jennifer are super kind in explaining the business-all local ingredients! Premium ingredients (local chocolate, Kona hinted brownies-Mac nut base ice cream)-wowza! Serious stuff! Come support this incredible shop. Yum!“

“We stayed at the Marriott and swung in to the coffee shop for breakfast. The drinks were perfect - latte had a nice layer of foam, and a heart to boot. The Ube cold brew was unexpectedly delicious - easy to see why it's a staff pick! We tried two different croffles and honestly I dont know why people make real waffles anymore, when they can have one of these instead. The waffle was PERFECTION, layered and crispy and buttery and chewy in the best ways. I ordered the garlic bread grilled cheese and would eat it every day if I had the chance. The chips were nicely seasoned too! Breakfast sandwich was eaten too fast by my husband to take a picture, but I heard it was good.
2 drinks, 2 croffles, grilled cheese and a breakfast sandwich was $58 before tip. Definitely reasonable considering island pricing (I actually think I pay more for a large latte in Minnesota than we paid here!)
11/10 would recommend - we'll probably go back for breakfast tomorrow!“

“I had the spicy pork cubbap bowl with garlic spinach , and a Tiramisu mochi donut. It was delicious. The shop is spotlessly clean, and the treats look amazing. The staff were friendly and even offered me a sample for the spice level. Prices were fair for Kailua-Kona
A new neighborhood favorite, looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.“

“we got the drifter large açaí bowl (32oz, $18). it was absolutely delicious with generous quantities. i really enjoyed the nice crunch of the cacao nibs and granola. i do think the açaí base was a tad bit more watery than i prefer, but overall i’m still very very satisfied.“

“Very good food and coffee, friendly staff. However, the inside of the restaurant was bizarre with an unappealing arcade room attached. The inside could definitely use a different vibe. Almost didn’t eat here when I walked in. Glad I stayed and ate though, the patio was a nicer spot to eat and chill.“

“I have always loved the smell of coffee, but unfortunately could not get past the acidic taste. Kona coffee café introduced me to Peaberry Kona coffee. This is the first time that I have ever been able to drink coffee let alone really enjoy it. The friendly staff explained how the volcanic soil and the timing of picking the bean changed the acidity in the coffee. Since being home, I’ve already placed an order and I am enjoying my coffee every morning. Thank you so much for introducing me to this amazing drink!“

“I was genuinely surprised by the amount and quality of food I got here. I ordered a lunch platter with teriyaki chicken, white rice, and salad. $11 plus tax. There was a really nice generous portion of chicken, and it was tender and well cooked. I'm not saying it was gourmet, but cheap Chinese food this close to the ocean in Hawaii, it was a great deal.“

“we went to watch the sunset (of course) which is worth the visit by itself. We ordered a couple of fru fru drinks that I would say were a B+. For nibblies we got the marsala mushrooms and housemade sourdough. The bread and marsala sauce are amazing! The mushrooms were a bit chewy but I don't know if it was the mushroom or the way it was cooked. I would still order that again in the future.“
