Journey Cafe Big Island Reviews
It was delicious and great service!
Flew over from Oahu to check out Journey Cafe. Not disappointed. Delicious food, nice ambiance, location could be better-like OAHU! Please come to our island! And bring the vegan ice cream SO ONO!
although the food is very tasty ..it is Not diabetic friendly and raised my blood sugar substantially. I did get to speak with the chef and ordered what he suggested as their most diabetic friendly item..the kale wrap.. unfortunately I wont be able to eat there again .

Journey Cafe Big Island is a charming restaurant offering delicious food with a varied menu. Customers praise the fantastic tacos, vegan omelette, and the teriyaki poke nachos, which are both healthy and delicious with big portions. The vegan ice cream samples are highly appreciated, and the free iced tea bar is a favorite feature that adds to the enjoyable experience. The menu also includes the Rainbow Pita and flavorful tacos, while the Mac and Cheese remains a popular choice for kids. The omelette and crepe are filling and taste great, with the crepes available in strawberry and chocolate flavors. The Ube Cookie and other desserts are must-tries, and the loco moco and poke are highly recommended. The meal prices are a bit higher, but the cozy interior and friendly atmosphere make it worth it. Guests can enjoy a few games during their visit, and the vibe is quiet and relaxing. The restaurant is especially praised for its vegan options, considered some of the best on the island. However, there is no free parking nearby, which can be a downside. The owners and chef contribute to the welcoming environment, making it a favorite spot for many visitors.
