“On a crowded Monday afternoon(roughly 12pm) The hostess hustled to fill every seat in the house. She quickly kept the lines moving and offered us 2 seats at the bar. I typically don't like bar seating because I enjoy the space to eat comfortably, but the WNBA draft was on so we accepted and I'm so glad we did!We were helped by Quincy who was bartending that day. She was friendly and answered all of our questions pertaining to the menu and the daily specials.(You're in for a TREAT if they are serving the lilikoi cheesecake!) I ordered the brisket nacho house fries (also a daily special) and my wife and I split a Paniolo burger...As a burger snob, (former employee at In N Out burger) I have to say this is a top 3 on the island! (Ono Loa Grill, Johnny's burger) The nacho fries I ordered without the sour cream but, it was still loaded with flavor and was served on a boat-like tray that made sharing a breeze! Now, back to Quincy, I hope she is acknowledge for her hustle and hospitality! It was packed! But we never felt like we were ever waiting around long! It's because she wouldn't allow it! Every plate that emerged from the kitchen looked amazing and I cannot wait for my 2nd visit to The Fish and the Hog!“
“The food was fresh, hot, and delicious! Best small spot in Waimea- don't let the name fool you- no booze at Da Booze- just food that is so ono! Went back twice. Ladies cooking the food fresh while singing along to the music station and loving their day- it was the best kind of local experience. Excellent service, so seriously good burgers and kekahott chicken. YESSSSSS- Go here!“
“This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is too-notch!! I had the BBQ beef plate. It was delicious!!! The thin-cut meat was SO flavorful and it was cooked perfectly! The mac salad was creamy and delicious as well.My husband had the seafood combo plate with shrimp and fish. He also chose BBQ chicken for the non-seafood portion of his meal. The shrimp was hot and crunchy. The chicken was tender. And the fish was moist and meaty. We’ve been on the island for a week now. This is, by far, the best place we’ve eaten.“
“I'm legitimately mad because I ate this on my first day of six and I know I'm not going to find any food better on the island. It's a shame they are only open on Saturdays, because I'd go back every day.My journey in life is now to find something as good as the chicken, pipi, and pork belly.“
“Dietary restrictions: Yum Yum Yoon’s kitchen serves a variety of dishes. My girlfriend and I got the all i combo and the portion size was big and the food was very excellent! They also serve vegetarian combos for anyone who doesn’t eat meat/pork.“
“We can always count on L&L Hawaiian barbecue for excellent Hawaiian “plate lunch” meals. Food is always good and the prices are reasonable. We have tried many locations on The Big island and Kauai and it’s our go to for Hawaiian food.“
“This place had really excellent food at a reasonable price. Lots of choices and really yummy chicken. Fresh and delicious. My salad was awesome too. The staff are friendly and efficient. The place was absolutely beautiful at the back too. Highly recommend.“

“They serve breakfast as well as the everyday faire of food. I had the French toast for my early breakfast one day and the chili spaghetti on a separate night visit. The Chili needs a little more flavor because it is fairly bland with no heat at all. Just some salt would help.Parking: Shared lot with other businesses .“
“Kahlua pork-yum! Korean pork-yum! Teriyaki beef-yum! Spam siemen-yum! Everything was pretty good. Even though the kahlua pork was good, I kept wanting a sauce to have with it. The one thing I didn't enjoy was the amc salad because there was just too much mayo for me. Not all hawaiian macaroni is the same, and this was a little heavy. The fries were crinkle fries, nothing special. You shared a tray with condiments on it with the rest of the restaurant. There were windows everywhere, so you could really enjoy the view.“
