“I found my favorite restaurant in Hilo on the Big Island.I recommend the ribs & spice chicken combo. Of the 4 side dishes, I don't recommend the japchae because it's too spicy.Noodles are also good when you're craving hot soup.You can order without tip and eat in the common area or To Go.“

“Coming back from Hawaii after a perfect vacation made my fam and I crave Hawaiian food something awful! We missed the mac salad, the rice, saisan noodle, the POG! I was leery about this L&L from some of the reviews, but as a veteran yelper I know to read between the lines. I knew where it was, but when I drove up it looked closed! Tip: drive INTO the shopping center, enter on the side facing the park lot, not the street. A large aquarium will greet you. It made me want to rescue whatever was living in it. Order at the cluttered counter, and in a few minutes, your food is ready. I have to say the kitchen made delicious, fresh food. Chicken Katsu with curry sauce over rice, mixed bbq plate, saisan noodles, fried crispy won-tons, and the uniqitous mac salad- they are all here. So comforting, filling, simple food freshly prepared. The kitchen clearly cares about the food they put out. This is a solid L&L!“
“This place is great. Went there for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Stopped on the way home from visiting VNP. Walked in and was a bit surprised as there wasn't much seating as place was small. However the food made up for all that. They serve a variety of Hawaiian plate options, sandwiches, burgers and poke. There were 4 of us. 2 ordered the burgers and 2 the poke. Poke was nice and fresh. The burgers are awesome and for the price $6.99 for single $9.99 for double you can't beat it. Mind you the burgers are just burgers nothing comes with it including any condiments no lettuce tomatoes etc but they do provide ketchup and mustard. Which I don't mind as I'm pretty much a no frills burger gal anyways. Each patty is 4 oz. and they taste great! We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back. Folks working there very friendly. I live in Keaau and will gladly take a ride up to Kurtistown just for the burger and maybe a side of sushi.“
“The sis who took my order was great. The food was hot, delicious and fast. The honey garlic chicken was great, and the Mac salad was some of the best I've had in a while. If you haven't been, just be aware that at this location, there are only 2 tables.“
“Awesome! I love local dive bars and this one didn't disappoint. Great friendly bar tender (Nathan) and they have TROPICAL DRINKS!! Especially in this Covid BS they make it work! Totally recommend this place...little skeptical when I parked, but glad I stayed!“
