“I was genuinely surprised by the amount and quality of food I got here. I ordered a lunch platter with teriyaki chicken, white rice, and salad. $11 plus tax. There was a really nice generous portion of chicken, and it was tender and well cooked. I'm not saying it was gourmet, but cheap Chinese food this close to the ocean in Hawaii, it was a great deal.“

“They are quick. Customer service is decent. The mochiko chicken is not consistent with the taste, they have a yucky after taste some days but it is still a good plate when there isn't. Just like all the other L&Ls the portion sizes are too much. Wish they did half orders.“

“Generous portions, tasty but what we tried (loco moco and chicken katsu salad) was okay. The salad dressing was a great sesame seed, but it was a very simple salad, bit of cucumber, purple potato, tomato, lots of romain lettuce nothing else other than the chicken.“

We stopped here on our last day in Kona before going to the airport and were satisfied with our experience. We needed to eat a quality meal and were filled up until late at night
My daughter loves orange chicken and chow mein so that was one of the entrees we ordered. The only thing is the chicken needs more “flavoring “ instead of just semi - sweet sauce and chicken taste. The chow mein was delicious but not the chicken as much.
My spouse enjoyed his beef bowl and we were able to grab a side of their orange soda to top it off.
Overall I do recommend this little deli - come support !! 🍛🍲“
