“This was the best meal I had on the island. I had a bento box with the Kalua Pork and spicy jungle sauce. Great flavor and the serving size was large. Dragonfruit lemonade was also a good treat! Highly recommend.“

“They are quick. Customer service is decent. The mochiko chicken is not consistent with the taste, they have a yucky after taste some days but it is still a good plate when there isn't. Just like all the other L&Ls the portion sizes are too much. Wish they did half orders.“

“First time visiting and we were impressed! The portions were generous, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Jay at the front was incredibly helpful, taking the time to answer our questions and guide us through the menu since it was our first visit. love the luau stew—it was rich n comforting. “While visiting muggy, muggy, sticky, and did I mention muggy Kona, I was thrilled to see a DQ. Like a mirage in the lava rock desert, there she was!
They're located in the Kona Commons, a newer mall between Kona Airport and Kailua Kona town. The store was clean, and service was friendly and fast.
DESSERT:

Mmm, mmm, mmm good and so much better in a creamy, crunchy waffle cone! Clean and very easy to eat because it came in a plastic holder.

“I ordered via the McD App. Food was ready and hot when I arrived. Tasted great!
Note: Don’t get directions from the McD App. It takes you to a vacant site just up the road. Go directly to Apple or Google Maps. This McD’s is in the Walmart.“

“Even though kona wasn’t getting hit as hard as hilo they were still pushing through and giving it their all the food was on point and delicious way better than greasy pizza hut and the manager in charge jan was super sweet WILL BE GOING BACK!!“

“Previous to this I had poke one time and didn’t like it. I followed the advice of a fellow tourist who said I had to try Da Poke Shop and if I didn’t like that then I truly don’t like poke. Well, after my visit I can say I really like poke! Da Poke Shop was great! I had the bowl, and got a scoop of spicy garlic and shop special with a side of seaweed salad and white rice. It was awesome! I’ll be back the next time I’m in the area. Eat here, you won’t regret it!“
