“If you're looking for fresh poke with 0 frills, this is the spot. I ordered a platter which came with 4 poke option and 2 sides. I got seaweed salad and 4 hearty size scoops of yummy fish. Parking is hard to find and there are a few picnic tables for your dining pleasure. Worth it 💯“

“Fresh, flavorful, and full of aloha!
Pau Hana Poke is hands-down one of the best poke spots I’ve visited in Hawaii. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the variety of poke styles. I loved the option to mix and match sides.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience feels authentically local. It’s a small shop with limited outside seating, so it’s perfect for takeout. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. If you’re in Kona and craving poke, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Got there one hour before closing. Parking is behind the building; there is a homeless encampment to the North of the building but they don't bother anyone. Wait to get in was about 15 min. The staff was quick in taking the order and bringing out the food. Everything we ordered was excellent, we will come back.“

“LOVE IT!!!are there 2 times during our 5 day stay on the big island.“
“South Side Açaí is a cute little spot and a nice find for a quick breakfast. It’s a small store with friendly vibes, and the açaí bowls were refreshing, but nothing mind-blowing compared to others we tried in Hawaii. Still, it’s a solid choice if you’re nearby and craving something light and healthy.“
