Poke Restaurants in Hilo, HI

“I am from the Mainland… found out about this place when looking at google maps and it was the cheapest thing. Now I had Umekes earlier at Kona so I thought this surely can’t beat that at a fraction of the price. And when I walked in the lady was so incredibly nice to us and helped us tourists out on what to order. We ordered two poke plates with sides, totalling $18 (I think). When they started loading up our plates I was like “wow this is a lot of food”. Then came time to eat and this was just as good as Umekes, and as good of poke I’ve had on this island so far. All I can say is for the price, this is welllllll worth it. I hope this shop continues to succeed and the people running it are blessed continually. Mahalo!“

“The best poke we had during our trip, including Oahu and big island. The seasoning was so accommodating, not on the heavy side. It really brought out the freshness of the fish. We had soy ahi and hamachi, calamari and shrimps. All of them were excellent. Should’ve got more.“

“First time. Seafood platter was good. Bbq beef was tasty and tender. I enjoyed the breaded mahi and shrimp (like my moms). My wife’s korean chicken was generous and she enjoyed the mac salad. Very fair prices especially in a mall setting. Mahalo!“

We were seated right away, the service was friendly from start to finish, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The food was fresh, flavorful, and there was plenty of it. Definitely a great choice for breakfast for tourists like me.“
