But they also offer carryout and dine-in for whole pizzas. And birthday-party/graduation/ho'olaulea (celebrations) accommodations. Staff are superb, checking to make sure you're doing okay. And kids adore the games (free, with purchase). Amazing Antics opened DURING the pandemic & has succeeded so well! One of my favorite places to eat, especially because slices are quick & fit within my limited budget. Well-done, Antics ownership, staff, leaders and lenders! 💚“

“Mahalo nui au i nā wāhine o ka Papa'a Palaoa Bakery ma Hilo, Hawai'i. They assisted me in providing a whole lilikoi pie to bring home to San Francisco. They fully wrapped the box in plastic to keep the pie protected, so I could then place it in an insulated bag and surround the box with frozen ice packs. The pie (as well as a cinnamon roll) made it back home just as "hou" (fresh) as when I purchased it, me ka pilikia ole (with no problems), and the pie tastes 'ono loa. I am very grateful for their assistance, and especially their kindness. I highly recommend this bakery to everyone who wants fresh baked goods, but most of all, I am very grateful to the Aloha given by their employees. Mahalo nui loa!!“

“This place is an absolute gem. We stumbled in with two hangry kids after figuring out that the place we intended to go wasn’t going to work. What a win! The food was fabulous, prices were unexpectedly reasonable, but best of all, the two gentlemen working there were so kind, completely chill, and made it a great experience for adults and keiki. We’ve been traveling in the islands for about a week, and this place is our favorite find. 10/10. Highly recommend.“

The sno cap is coconut cream topping. All so reasonable. It is worth the drive from Kona just to come here for the experience...but there is a half mile waterfall hike close by to start your day. I tried tons of flavors off all the orders...all good. But I couldn't resist the coconut and chocolate macadamia ice cream.“

“The man who worked here when we came in in mid November was the epitome of aloha. So kind and welcoming. We had never been before and took his time to explain the menu and make suggestions. For parents travelling with three kids you feel like a burden on a small restaurant like this but again, he was so welcoming to all of us. The Miso garlic katsu was our favorite! So so good. The lamb was also super yummy. Chicken katsu was good, just not as good as the other two.“

“The seafood: FRESH. The fried fish crunch factor: PERFECT. The sauces: DELICIOUS. Service was amazing and personal. Enjoy the Oahu scallops, the jumbo shrimp and Mahi Mahi fish. Sauces are made in the kitchen. My favorite was the garlic fill tartar sauce. They have TVs and chill setup. Even the fries were on point.“

“Had lunch here 2/3 days that we were in Hilo, everything was amazing. The Misoyaki Butterfish Salad was fresh and extremely flavorful without being heavy, and the fish melts like butter in your mouth. We also had a cold water scallop special, an eggplant /marinara/pesto/ricotta appetizer (forgot what it's called, oops!) and crab cakes. Everything was great, honestly one of the best places I've eaten at on the entire island. I like to sit at the bar, as I'm a former long time bartender. Sascha is one of the best around, cocktails were, again, among the best that I found on the island, including Kona. Service was top notch, no matter how busy he got, and he took extra time to modify one of the house cocktails so that an elderly gal with sensitive teeth sitting nearby could enjoy it. I would honestly make the drive from Waikoloa just for this, but Hilo has plenty of outdoor activities to offer as well.“

“Really tasty dinner. Got the curry, brown rice, and cashew chicken. Felt like they were really watered down which also kept the flavors from being as strong which was disappointing because I did appreciated the spice.
Also asked for hot and felt it was more of a mild. Worth going to nonetheless“

“Abundant vegetables made so much of this meal pop. The summer rolls felt like a hand salad, with plump and fresh shrimp, and a peanut sauce popping with robust flavor. Mee kow spicy noodles danced with salty sweet umami, and deliciously painful runny nose level spicy at the requested 7 out of 10 spice level. The brown rice with our green curry was nutty. The duck they used was the barbeque type; Works great. The service was extremely attentive, belying that these are professional palate pleasers. $100 before tip paid for enough to feed generous dinner to two hungry hikers with yummy leftovers enough for our lunch tomorrow. What a fabulous meal!!“
