“My husband and I stayed several days for his 50th birthday. Surprise to us at check-in they had upgraded our room to an oceanfront room.., completely complimentary. “My coworker has taken us here a couple times so far to get some ice cream for a midday treat. Today I got their oreo cheesecake ice cream. It was super creamy and had both the cheesecake and oreo flavors I love and enjoy. I believe last time I got the butter pecan and it did not disappoint either. Definitely stop in to support a local business!“

“Totally awesome authentic burger place. My only regret was not ordering another burger. My sister had the Surf Burger and I had the Hi-Heat. On the drive back to our hotel, we just randomly kept saying what a great burger those were. Honestly surprised we didn’t turn around and go back for more.“

“Good place for dinner after a day exploring Waimea Canyon. We ordered a veggie pizza for take out. The pizza was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed it.
However, we asked to 'substitute' a few toppings but were charged for 'substitutes' as 'extra toppings'. One pizza cost us $45+ tips. So, we paid for the toppings we never had on our pizza too. in this regard, make sure you check before paying.“

“Loved our dinner at Browns Beach House! Ambiance was great, especially our seat right along the lawn (unobstructed view of the sunset) and the live music. Our server, Liana, was excellent and very personable. I enjoyed my chicken entree and champagne. My husband had a delectable coconut/cacao cocktail and a fish entree - mahi mahi. It was such a lovely evening. Very memorable, especially those delicious rolls!“

“Kawika was an amazing bartender/server. He kept our drinks full, kept us laughing, and was super attentive. He described the lobster fried rice and made it sound so good that we decided to order it. “We had the most incredible experience at Meridia while celebrating our wedding anniversary! From the beautiful atmosphere and breathtaking views to the amazing food and service, everything about our evening was perfect.
We ordered the crudo, caprese, catch of the day, Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms, and every single dish was absolutely delicious! You can truly tell how much thought and care goes into the food. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Soto, who was so incredibly kind and welcoming. It was such a special touch to our evening!
Our server was equally wonderful, so friendly, funny, and attentive throughout the entire dinner. They even surprised us with a special anniversary dessert, which was so thoughtful and made our celebration even more memorable.
Between the stunning views, exceptional food, and genuinely wonderful people, this was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to Chef Soto and the entire Meridia team for making our evening so special! We will absolutely be back whenever we return to the Big Island!“
