“Aloha! We are visiting from San Francisco and I love a good matcha. I can happily say that this is THE SPOT to scratch that itch! The owner is so lovely, his name is Ji, and he runs the place with his wife. I got the iced matcha with guava and coconut cream foam…yes, it was as good as it sounds! Hoping to get another one before we leave the island, it’s a repeat location forsure. Mahalo Ji!“

“I was told to try this place by a friend from the area and I’m glad I did! I got the “Lahaina” (pineapple, coconut, and banana) with vanilla ice cream on the bottom and the “snow cap” (sweetened condensed milk mixture) on top. It was amazing! The line was pretty long so there was definitely a wait, but it was worth it!“

“This was my absolute favorite food/snack in Maui. It's so good that we went here twice back to back for breakfast! My favorite order is the Honolua with the Maui honey, not as overpowering as the regular honey. Must try if you're ever in the Kihei/South Maui Gardens area!“

“We love this cafe, a very quiet and quality spot. It has a lot of hot and cold drink options, with a rich flavor and excellent service. We ordered a latte and a Fireside Mocha, with a lemon ricotta muffin and a pastry filled with nutella. Very tasty, a good stop after seeing the sunrise in Haleakala National Park.“

“We went to a local place for lunch that had great reviews and were very disappointed. Came across this amazing food truck and randomly ordered a few things……ended up coming back not even an hour later to order more. Great portions, food was so good! Made to order and so yummy! The wasabi cream sauce is 🤤🤤🤤 Give this truck a try! Best meal on Maui after a week of trying different local spots!“

“This is the infamous sherbet dessert of Maui. How can you not love this refreshing alternative to ice cream and yogurt?! There are just two flavors, strawberry and pineapple, but they do come out with a limited, special flavor every now and then, usually posted on their IG page.
Its not overly sweet nor filling. Choose from 1 to 5 scoops or a pint. They also pack them for inter-island flights. They no longer have azuke beans for a topping.
Closed on Sundays, cash only.“

“This is the best shaved ice (that I know of) in the world. Although it isn’t shaved ice (its baobing, the Chinese take on shaved ice), the combination of all the toppings and the price point make it truly delicious. Other places for shaved ice in Maui cost $5 per cup, and the cups are minuscule. Here, the share size Sunset baobing costs $13 dollars and six people couldn’t finish it. It came with popping boba, mochi, fresh strawberries, and a surprise of ice cream in the middle. This combination satisfied everyone in the group and filled everyone up for a good price! Best of all, there was no line nor wait, and our baobing came out instantly!“

“Got the coconut, mango and pineapple and it was cool and refreshing but the flavor and consistency weren’t quite as definitively delicious as shaved ice we’ve had at other places. There’s a lovely park across the street where you can sit and eat as well as some chairs and tables in the pavilion next door.“

Yes, it takes a while for your order to come up, but that’s because EVERYTHING is made fresh to order. The wait is so worth it. We were in Maui for 6 days and we came by at least 3 or 4 times. The kids even asked if we could make it the last stop on our way to the airport. Worth the trip - go check them out.“

“Garlic shrimp, ribeye steak, and Korean chicken were flavoured so well and cooked perfectly! The shrimp tastes way better than the more famous shrimp trucks. (We also ordered the ahi Katsu, which didn't land on the faves list, but that's a matter of personal preference. It was cooked and flavoured well...I just prefer a seared ahi over a fully cooked one.)
Service was friendly and quick, atmosphere is average...it's a food truck at the edge of the Lowe's parking lot 🙃

“My Thai Maui was quite literally the BEST food my family and I have ever had. Each dish was packed with so much flavor, love, and sooo fresh. Not only did the food come out so quickly but it was so hot. We loved every single thing we ordered. The family is so kind and helpful, they even gave us extra mango with our mango sticky rice 🥹 I wish we found this place sooner during our stay here because it was so amazing. The restaurant is so unique & has such wonderful decor. We loved it here and when we come back to Maui, this will be our first stop. Definitely GO & support this spectacular family owned restaurant.

“We did a tour with Emily! She was amazing! We here there are Fy other guys who tour, but there is not a chance they are as good as her! Very knowledgeable, this was definitely a highlight of our Maui trip. We have a new brand that will be a staple in our house. Please let me know when you decide to sell Brum in Kansas City 😉!“
