“Was visiting Maui for my birthday trip and on our last day, we decided to try some authentic local foods and I’m glad we did! I absolutely enjoyed Tasty Crust, enjoyed the friendly staff and enjoyed the locals! Definitely a hidden gem in Maui for tourists. “We have been regulars here for about three years. Love the friendly, laid-back atmosphere, the fantastic lattes and of course the avocado toast - but most of all the music. This place is musician-friendly and audience-friendly and everyone has a great time. Highly recommended.“

“backstory matters... I am from Mississippi. my name is Lee. I just recently moved to Maui. and tonight I found my bar. the first bar I have walked into since I made it to Maui. I went there to shoot a game of pool or two. to my surprise there was a person there named Charlie or Chuck as I like to call them. that made me feel like I have known them for a long time. ya know that feeling when you maybe knew someone in a past life. everyone there was cool as hell. welcoming for sure. mostly locals small family ran family owned bar. the bartender was on point and the drinks are exactly what you want. nothing but good vibes there...... PS if you go in there ring the bell. and let them know that Lee did warn you. I'll be back...... alot!“

“This is our favorite food in Maui.
Totally authentic, totally delicious.
The katsu is their specialty, but don't sleep on other options - Korean chicken, tempura, and all the sides are great too.
A must for a taste of local Japanese cuisine.
We sat on the small bench near the counter, keep in mind there's really nowhere to sit, so plan to eat in your car or back at your accommodations.“

“We hit this place to grab a quick, inexpensive bite after a long day of travel. We got great food and great service. The atmosphere is not the most awesome, but the owner and his wife were wonderful. Quick and simple. Had the hamburger steak, and I might try the Korean BBQ next time.“

“I am a lifelong Starbucks consumer. I’ve gone to more of its locations around the world than I can count. My boyfriend and I are at the drive thru every morning just after they open, while it’s still dark out. Our drinks are always good, of course, but what sets this location apart from all of the others is the customer service. They are always welcoming, friendly, know your favorite drinks, and just in general are exceptional at attracting and keeping happy customers. I honestly think, as a former restaurant owner, that they should be the gold standard. Just drive by this location and you will see that there is ALWAYS a long line of cars! Kudos to all of the wonderful Starbucks staff at the Wailuku location!“

“Delicious Vietnamese and one of the few solid options for dinner in Wailuku. Most people were picking up takeout, but we stayed to eat in the cute covered outdoor patio. Ginger Chicken sandwich and Shrimp Summer rolls were awesome and so reasonably priced. We’ll be back.“
