“Recently dined here and had a wonderful experience. Can’t believe I slept on this place. Definitely a new favorite spot for me. Friendly staff, excellent atmosphere, and the food was wonderful. We tried hot and cold soba, the eggplant, tuna and eel nigiri, and the mackerel appetizer. All fantastic. Will be returning and recommending it to friends. Dog friendly is an extra bonus! “We came here primarily for my husband to do the tour and watch the sunset. He did the tour on his own and ended up being the only person on it which he said was a bit awkward but wonderful at the same time since he got to see a little bit more and had a great time chatting with the tour guide, Alan. My girls (ages 8 and 11) and I sat at one of the picnic tables on their expansive lawn looking at the beautiful scenery, having some mocktails, and reading our books. It was definitely fine with our kids although they wouldn’t have been allowed on the tour. The food was delicious and fresh. We had the hummus plate, Mac nut pesto flatbread, ahi tuna sandwich, and Caesar salad. Everything was great and price point I’d say is about what I would expect for Maui and the location. Although the clouds obscured the view of the sunset, the extra cloud cover made the evening temps bearable since the majority of the tables were fully exposed to the sun. Our server, Daniel was very friendly and attentive. There was live music from 5-7 and once the sun set, the lights came on making it all look quite magical. All in all, we had a great time. Would definitely recommend especially if you are in Upcountry and looking for something different to do.“

“We loved this vegan truck every time we visited, as our first stop and our last before flying out, for lunch. However, we got here this year and they NO LONGER SERVE FOOD, so just note. They are a delicious little ice cream shop only now. Still good, but we definitely missed the chippa waffle and burger. Had to find somewhere else to eat vegan on the way to the west side of the island.“

“This is the infamous sherbet dessert of Maui. How can you not love this refreshing alternative to ice cream and yogurt?! There are just two flavors, strawberry and pineapple, but they do come out with a limited, special flavor every now and then, usually posted on their IG page.

Its not overly sweet nor filling. Choose from 1 to 5 scoops or a pint. They also pack them for inter-island flights. They no longer have azuke beans for a topping.

“Garlic shrimp, ribeye steak, and Korean chicken were flavoured so well and cooked perfectly! The shrimp tastes way better than the more famous shrimp trucks. (We also ordered the ahi Katsu, which didn't land on the faves list, but that's a matter of personal preference. It was cooked and flavoured well...I just prefer a seared ahi over a fully cooked one.)

Service was friendly and quick, atmosphere is average...it's a food truck at the edge of the Lowe's parking lot 🙃

“One of the food trucks in the Maika’i market in the Maui Mall Village and possibly my favourite meal in Maui. Food is made to order so the pork was crispy, juicy and so tender. The fresh onion, tomato, and vinegar dipping sauce balanced the pork’s richness and fattiness beautifully. The people running it are friendly and clearly care that they are serving great food. Huge portion too - it served as both lunch and dinner! Would love to go back and try more things.“

It’s a hole-in-the-wall place and we both got the chicken katsu. He got the kimchi as a side and I got the salted cabbage. Both were delicious!

I went there to shoot a game of pool or two. to my surprise there was a person there named Charlie or Chuck as I like to call them. that made me feel like I have known them for a long time. ya know that feeling when you maybe knew someone in a past life. everyone there was cool as hell. welcoming for sure. mostly locals small family ran family owned bar. the bartender was on point and the drinks are exactly what you want. nothing but good vibes there...... The line was pretty long so there was definitely a wait, but it was worth it!“
