“We both got dry noodles because they were sold out of Chow Fun noodles. They were really well-made and well-cooked noodles. Comes with a side of soup broth. I dumped soup into noodles and added soy sauce and hot sauce to increase the flavor and add a bit of a kick; but i am notoriously a condiments driven person. They do recommend soy sauce when the noodles come out, but the flavor of the noodles themselves is great. All noodles options on the menu come with the same topping. It would have been nice if there were a few more vegetables. The pork in the noodles was delicious. Service was really friendly. Atmosphere is very casual. You can order take out as well. Parking lot available.
FYI the large noodle was a lot for me as a pregnant person but a perfect amount for my husband.
Dietary restrictions: Good options for pregnancy.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat, no door jam bump to get inside. However, tables are somewhat close together. I am sure they would be happy to accommodate a wheelchair though. Staff was super friendly!“

“It is a street vendor, all take out food.
Great portion.
Very reasonable price.
Line is a bit long during lunchtime.
No place to sit, it is more of a grab and go place.
Wheelchair accessibility: You order at the window, the " shed" is really within the parking lot; then pick up at another window n the adjacent wall.“
“Do yourself a favor and skip cooking on Sunday to eat at the Lono Blue Kitchen in Wailuku. I ordered a salmon poke bowl, and it was fresh and delicious. My husband ordered tempura, and pronounced the shrimp delicious and the veggies fresh and tasty. Meals for takeout or dine at an outside table. Enjoy!“
“Itʻs the only place to get your cone and maki sushi, made fresh daily! They also make spam musubi with sushi and regular white rice. Their antique shop is also a great find with tons of memorabilia.
Parking: Even though parking is limited,it's a quick In-N-Out store.“

“Wabisabi Soba & Sushi is a refreshing alternative to the numerous noisy street front alternatives in Paia. Not that easy to find, but definitely worth finding. For a relaxing, shady, back from the street (quiet), great Japanese food at reasonable prices with a friendly, informative staff it can't be beat. It's a little bit of up country ambience that's worth seeking out. Take your time there to relax and regain a little peace from the hubbub outside. I finally had a chance to bring my Japanese wife here and she loved it. The iced Matcha is refreshing. We will be back whenever we can escape from Honolulu.“

“best casual meal on maui this year’s maui trip (i visit family every year). we got the keyakiya chicken — great texture (not dry), umami, sweet, and very lightly breaded (i don’t like thicc breading). i can’t wait until next year’s maui trip ?check their IG. sometimes they don’t come if the weather is bad. @keyakiyamaui
Parking: park along kahului beach for free“

“We foolishly came at the weekday lunch rush but it was still worthwhile. The daily special bento was a great bargain. More a place for locals, and a few smart people who seek out such places.
Kid-friendliness: Great! As long as you avoid the lunch rush because who wants to wait for a table when you got kids“

“We sat at the sushi bar on sat night. Waiter was so sweet, great at her newly modified job...(again) she introduced us to the sushi chefs and they all waved and threw shaka Our food was so epic, fast, tasty and well prepared. We had such an awesome experience. I love Isana and the ohana that get together each day to serve and help us have a great evening treat. I’m service industry on island and I appreciate so much being able to go out and see people in my field still smiling and making this work. Mahalo Isana Staff.“

“Great Japanese izakaya (ramen bar) in Maui. Decorated with anime figurines and old school Japanese ad art. The chef/owner personally came to our table to explain the menu specials (black squid ink ramen) and the hostess/server made a great beverage suggestion. We went back twice during our trip, it was so good! Arigato!“

“Went to dinner here as a family of 5, kids are 7-11yrs old so we decided to share given the size of the portions around us. Had the shrimp fried rice, veggie spring rolls, side of chicken katsu and the combo with ramen & karaage. Didn't get to take a picture due to everyone scarfing it all down lol. Kids kept saying they wanted to come back again to try new things. Great place, authentic Japanese atmosphere , food was great and came fast to the table.“

“Got the unagi donburi and it was super delicious. Excellent balance in the portions and top notch eel. The salad had a tasty orange dressing that cut through the eel’s fattiness nicely. I’m gunna keep seeking out this place when I’m back at the food truck oasis!“

“8/2023We were staying across the street at Maui Seaside Hotel to support Maui relief efforts. This was a very convenient and pleasant option. Food and selection were great, quick, and supported with friendly service. It was bust but didn't take too long to get to our table of nine. Not going into details about the plethora of items we ordered but suffice to say everything was onolicious! Again, the friendly service ( may have been the manager) helped top off the evening. I would definitely want to go back! ??✌️“
