“best casual meal on maui this year’s maui trip (i visit family every year). we got the keyakiya chicken — great texture (not dry), umami, sweet, and very lightly breaded (i don’t like thicc breading). i can’t wait until next year’s maui trip ?check their IG. sometimes they don’t come if the weather is bad. @keyakiyamauiParking: park along kahului beach for free“
“Incredibly tasty food with large portions for really affordable prices. Parking is on the back of the building and so is the door to this place. The service was prompt and the folks were nice. If only there was a small sitting place to sit down and have the food warm. We went to the nearby Whole Foods plaza to sit down and have our food. But if you are taking out, this is the perfect place!“
“Hooray for another Japanese food option on Maui! This one serving probably 50% sushi, which I don't think I've seen anyone do besides just having 1 or 2 rolls on their menu. Located on the food truck lot across Costco. We tried the unagi donburi & gyoza. The donburi is served with an avocado salad. Unagi was well seasoned with a tasty sauce. The gyoza was nice & crispy & served with a sweeter sauce. Filling was good & pretty generous. Pricing was reasonable. There was a bit of a wait, which is understandable for this type of food, so plan accordingly. Definitely need to come back & try the sushi!“
“Quick friendly service. The 3 ramen we ordered had similar broth. I was expecting a soy sauce sukiyaki sauce not a creamy Tonkatsu looking/tasting sauce. My black garlic ramen could use a little more black garlic. The kids liked the meaty chicken karaage. It would be awesome if they sliced the 2 thick chasiu pork slices into 4 thin slices.Plenty of free parking.“
“We foolishly came at the weekday lunch rush but it was still worthwhile. The daily special bento was a great bargain. More a place for locals, and a few smart people who seek out such places.Kid-friendliness: Great! As long as you avoid the lunch rush because who wants to wait for a table when you got kids“
