This time I went with my friend and we basically ordered a pretty big survey of the menu. The thing that stood out is really good with the spring rolls with brown rice wraps. Full of fresh veggies and very tasty. I had a combination, salmon, tuna, almost like a poke bowl with some veggies and egg I'd say it was a 3 1/2 star item. We had the cabbage pancake, which reminded me of eating in Japan. And some potato croquettes which also we're pretty good.. the service was friendly....read full review
Do yourself a favor and skip cooking on Sunday to eat at the Lono Blue Kitchen in Wailuku. I ordered a salmon poke bowl, and it was fresh and delicious. My husband ordered tempura, and pronounced the shrimp delicious and the veggies fresh and tasty. Meals for takeout or dine at an outside table. Enjoy!

I literally had to stop in the middle of my meal to write this review because their food is that delicious. Lono Blue Kitchen is definitely worth the wait. I do recommend bringing patience with you though since it is evident that this is a pure small business. It appeared when we went that there was one person manning the kitchen and the front.
