Oao - Sushi Bar & Grill in Wailea offers top-notch sushi, almost as good as in Japan. The lack of parking can be a challenge during peak hours, but the happy hour prices are a plus. The place is casual but the quality is top notch, flying fish in from the famous Japanese fish market. The menu has something for everyone, with even non-seafood eating keiki calling it their favorite restaurant on island. Iggy is on point every time with service, and this crew has separated themselves from all other sushi options on Maui. Signature rolls are unique, and the salmon hybrid nigiri is a must try. The crunchy rice was really good too. Two cocktails were spot on.
