“Food was exceptional, possibly the best on the island. That being said the service was lacking for an Applebees let alone a restaurant in the Ritz Carlton. Server was nice and so were all those assisting but took a long time to get basic drinks like cranberry juice and went long periods of time without water refills. Possibly short staffed that night, but have nothing else to compare to but the one evening. Again the food was amazing.“

“We just so happened to stumble upon Slappy Cakes while driving by in Maui! We decided to check it out before heading back home from vacation and Slappy Cakes did NOT disappoint!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was very friendly. Coy was our server and we will never forget how awesome he was!! Not only was he an excellent and very prompt server but he stayed after closing time to finish a conversation with us about the island that left a lasting impact on our hearts. “Our stay at Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi exceeded every expectation we had and became one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken.

One of the highlights was exploring the incredible gardens at both the Beach Resort and Sensei Lānaʻi. They are absolutely stunning and beautifully maintained, making it feel like you’re walking through a botanical paradise everywhere you go.

Our first interaction with the Four Seasons team was at the horse ranch at the Sensei property, where we met Grace. She immediately made us feel genuinely welcome with her warmth, knowledge, and kindness. It was obvious how much she cared about the horses, and we were so impressed by how well loved and exceptionally cared for all of the animals are. That first experience set the tone for the rest of our stay.

When we arrived at the Beach Resort, every single employee we encountered treated us like a longtime friend rather than just another guest. The level of hospitality is unlike anything we’ve experienced. The staff somehow anticipates your needs before you even realize you have them, making every moment feel effortless and relaxing.

The resort itself is breathtaking—modern and luxurious while still embracing the authentic beauty and spirit of the islands. Every detail feels intentional without losing the charm of Hawaiʻi.

As kamaʻāina, we took advantage of the local rate, and after everything was said and done, we honestly feel like we saved money compared to planning a similar trip on our own. Four Seasons handled so many of the logistics that the experience was completely stress-free.

Having the rental Jeep ready for us made exploring the island and visiting secluded beaches worry-free and incredibly convenient. They also arranged our private chartered Cessna flight to and from Lānaʻi, and that experience alone was unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was seamless and far beyond anything we imagined.

Dinner at Nobu was another highlight. The food was remarkable, and the waitstaff made the evening feel truly special. We’re not even foodies, yet it became one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had.

We left Lānaʻi already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to everyone at Four Seasons for your genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and for creating such a unique and unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to return.“

“It's nice to have Nanea's fine dining open again. The menu is pretty small but their options for food and beverages are a step above the pool bar. We had Lindsey 2 different nites and she was an awesome server. Another nite we had someone else and I think they were new and seemed scattered. It is definitely a beautiful setting for breakfast and dinner.“
