“This review is not for the restaurant per se but these guys did cater a private luau for 10 for my family at our resort. They were super accommodating and super easy to work with. They created a gorgeous fruit platter, Kalua Pork, Huli Huli Chicken, Poke, Teriyaki Beef, chow fun noodles, grilled veggies, specialty bread and specialty Gelato which was all fabulous! I don't know if the serve any of this at their restaurant but I trust their taste in ...taste! And quality. They were very communicative and arrived right on time and set up a very nice buffet for us. They came in right on budget and also found someone to make us a gorgeous cake. I could not be happier to have worked with them. Mahalo guys for feeding us at our unforgettable evening. {we also hired a Hula dancer and Ukulele player.. different review}“

“Everything is top notch. The people. The crostini and prawns are a favorite dish (appetizer). Beautiful vibes.“
“With the Marriott discount card (get it from the welcome center), the menu items will cost 10% less. It all adds up. On Taco Tuesday, the tacos are $15 instead of $19 (and 10% less with the card). We ate them last year and didn't think they were overly impressive but this year ... wow! What a difference! The fish was plentiful (as was the shrimp) and the tortilla chips were so much nicer than fries. Our guests raved about the Lobster Sensation Grilled Cheese as well as their hot dogs and chicken tenders. On 6 days of the week, there are additional menu options and are offered as "Beach Walk Nightly Events: 5-7 pm) and 4 of those events are going to be outside the Kau Kau and will border the walkway. Those special Kau Kau nights do not include Sunday and will feature one of these nightly: Teppanyaki, Tacos, BBQ, family pasta night, Hawaiian BBQ, and prime rib. Also try the Makai Tiki Bar. Do not overlook walking down to Whalers Village for the excellent options at the Food Court there.“

“This is their express location, with a full restaurant called Sale Pepe. So you’re getting sit down restaurant quality, not fast food. Hence the price. $8 for a large pizza slice, ~ $20 for pasta.
A local recommended them to us, and told us how they originally were in Old Town Lahaina and were destroyed in the fire.“

“Not your average cinnamon roll and pizza joint! Best in the world cinnamon rolls (I’m a 25 yr cop-I know my pastries!!)! Fantastic fresh pizza is a must have. But the Aloha spirit washes over this place and spills out into the streets like the smell of freshly made cinnamon rolls. After the tragic Maui fires, Papi’s c rolls and pizza were given out free…yes free! To visitors and displaced local fire victims alike. For weeks! One should note: the tip jar over floweth in return…as it should be. Aloha is reciprocal and magnified here. It’s not just a great place to eat. It’s a great place to be. The spirit of aloha is not the only spirit in this place. The Holy Spirit is so present you just feel well and good for having been there and participating in the example displayed. Be goodly, be Godly, live a life of aloha with good thoughts, good prayers and good deeds. Take care of your community your community will take care of you. All that, and the best cinnamon rolls ever.“
