“I had the Paradiso sandwich, and my husband had a meat Calzone. The Italian bread was fresh, warm, and delicious. Bacon was very crisp on my sandwich. My husband loved the flavors of his Calzone! I highly recommend this small little place in Whaler's Village! Great food and prices!“
“We ate here three separate times and happy each time. Definitely one of the cheaper options and a non greasy thin pizza is never a bad idea.I just wish the had garlic dipping sauce. I guess it’s not a “thing” in Maui but other than that, no complaints“
“Wow! Julian’s pizza needs a line ‘round the block! By the time we got it home, it was cold AND STILL DELICIOUS!! The bacon, sausage and pepperoni were delicious. Ample veggies. Delicious thin crust. And the sauce! Fortunately, we can come back for dinner this time, before we leave. Next time we’ll eat there on a picnic table. It takes about 10 minutes to make a pizza, so let’s make Julian, who is a sweetie BTW, do what he loves to do! Make lots of pizza!! You won’t be disappointed!!“
“This place is a great little spot. Great, well-priced pizza, fantastic appetizers (try the kebobs) and side dishes as well as desserts. They have drinks, but the maintains were quite sour. I did not try the others. They have beers as well. Although busy, they line and the food is fast. They also had a really fun DJ for Karaoke on Saturday. Everyone was very supportive, and it was good quality singers with a wide range of song genres.“
“I love a good dive bar and this place is awesome. The Bloody Mary was good. I tried the loco moco. The eggs and patty were cooked perfectly. The burger patty had a great flavor and nice char. The gravy on the loco moco was thin and needed more flavor. I upgraded for the fried rice but it wasn't great. I think it just had some frozen vey thrown in, it was only ok. Overall, it was a cool place. I would go back to watch a game and hang out.“
“Cool little place with great pizza. Staff was very friendly and thanked everyone that walked out. It’s close to all the resorts tucked into the strip mall. We will definitely add this place to our list of places when we come back.Kid-friendliness: Had a table with kids books and coloring supplies while we waited for our food.“
“If I could, I would also rate the smell of the establishment 5 stars. Papi's Ohana makes unreal cinnamon rolls that are different from your regular cinnamon roll. They are flakey and half the thickness of your typical cinnamon roll so the filling to bread ratio is perfect and they are buttery and warm when served. It also unravels beautifully and I highly recommend getting another tub of cream cheese glaze if you have a sweet tooth like me! It's like a cinnamon roll and a croissant had a perfect baby. This is enough to bring me back to Maui.A few tips:1) Papi's Ohana isn't open every day and they may close earlier if they sell out. Check in on their Instagram page for the most up to date hours and to see if they're closed early!2) Parking is limited so if you're staying in the Kahana area, consider walking!3) Prepare to wait in line! We waited about 40 minutes. Do yourself a favour and get an iced coffee from Cruzin' Cafe across the lot to make the most of your visit.4) Eat it as intended. The cinnamon rolls are obviously delicious, but they are MOST delicious when eaten as soon as you get them. There's some outdoor seating so try to have a few bites upon receiving!5) Maui is still recovering from the devastating Lahaina fires. Remember to be respectful to the locals and tip generously! :)Parking: Limited parking! Like 4 spots and long line ups so be wary!“
