“A bit noisy because of the wooden floors and active bar making blended drinks. But the service and locally sourced food is superb. There are other table locations within the restaurant that are probably quieter than the one we chose right up front at the windows.“

“I have lots of feedback. I've lived on Maui (Wailuku Heights, Maui Meadows, Pukalani, and now Kihei again) for five years. A friend of mine was visiting from Virginia. I wanted to bring him to Mama's, but couldn't get a late reservation. I called Mama's and was told about the Wait List, so we came to Mama's, got on the Wait List, and had a wonderful table in less than 30 minutes. BRAVO for Mama's. I was surprised, because I gave the lady at the front (by the parking lot) my last name, and she knew my first name. This was my 12th visit, and I was already in your system. Thank you!“

“The shrimp cocktail was pretty basic which is why I’m not giving them 5 stars. I got 6 cooked shrimp with cocktail sauce on the side (I know that’s the American shrimp cocktail but… why stick to that?). The fish tacos were very pretty good and paired well with their home magic sauce. We enjoyed the ahi sashimi, nothing amazing, just fresh and good quality. It did feel a little crowded, we went on a Wednesday around 2pm. It’s a make a line, pay your order and find a seat kind of place. They do have very fresh fish, just wish they were more creative with their preparations.“

“We found this place by searching great reviews, and it did not disappoint! From the freshly-caught giant portion of mahi that was grilled to order right in front of us (thanks, Blake!), to the tasty sauces and sides, to the cheerful and helpful service (shout out to Leyla!), we are hooked (get it?). “One of the best rated food trucks in Maui according to Google so we had to visit. It’s a short drive from the Andaz Resort. The spot was closing soon so we phoned in our order 30mins prior and by the time we got there, food was ready.The seafood was fresh and not overcooked.Portions matched the value ??.Ample parking space at the back.Mahalo!“

“Loved our meals from here. The Calamari was huge and the fish dishes were incredible. Also, offer vegan tofu options. It is outside a large food truck garden, but we took our food into the garden to eat, because it was beautiful in there too.“

“Consistently amazing food. One of the few trucks on the island that you feel like you've had a healthy and super tasty meal. The side salad is so delicious and the cook/server is super kind and helpful. This truck is the only one that I know of that asks to be paid after your food is served.“

“This place was amazing for lunch! While my husband and I were visiting Maui we hopped on here to find a good lunch spot and coconuts were in the top 3 for this area. When arriving the owner was very nice and shared with us what entrees they were best known for. Fish tacos, fish and chips and the combo plates. We ended up ordering the fish tacos, fish and chips and coconut shrimp. Everything was delicious!!! Food incredible and so fresh. “The most authentic sushi on the island and better than almost all of the 100+ places I've been to worldwide. Get the omakase and you will not be disappointed. Hiro-san has a wide variety of high quality fish that he presents very artistically. Call the first day of the month for reservations that month. If you don't, you'll probably miss out. Oishi! “Stopped here for lunch after a morning on the beach and we were not disappointed! We had the fried mahi, fried shrimp, teriyaki chicken, and the onion rings. All items were delicious and hearty! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Make sure you stop here if you are in the Kihei area!“

“After a delayed connecting flight, we had no time to eat before getting on our next flight to Maui. We arrived at the Lowe's parking lot where this food truck was located. Took us some time to figure out where the food truck was parked considering how big this parking lot was.I got the ribeye steak and garlic shrimp, also comes with rice and a small salad. After surviving on pretzels, I ate the whole thing. It was delish. Great portion as well. Since there were no tables to sit at, we ate on the hood of our rental car.“

“We had breakfast today, 4/10/24, at the new ownership and newly reimagined Café Mambo in Paia. The lemon ricotta pancakes with berry compote and a drizzle of sweet rosemary syrup blew the roof off. My husband’s breakfast burrito was just as spectacular. I hate posting this because I don’t want to fight crowds to get in like at Mama’s, but they really earned this shout out“

“Nathaniel is amazing. Got great Mac salad best on the island three times will I was on island. He went above and beyond to custom make a travel lunch fo me for my flight home. Looking forward to eating his great fish and Mac salad my next island stay. “

“This place is so good!! We were looking for a Filipino place to eat at for our last day on Maui and couldn’t have found a better place! The pork adobo fried rice was fantastic, and the pancit was really good. Our service was also great, with a friendly and attentive server. I would reccomend this place to anyone! The halo halo was also AMAZING. My only recommendation is they add the sweet beans but that’s a personal thing! This place is so awesome and anyone should come check it out. “Garlic shrimp is a must when you're in Hawaii. This was my first time having it in Maui but it's just as delish as when I had it in Oahu. This food truck is located in an open area along with many other food trucks. It's a shared space with plenty of tables to sit at.The shrimp plate comes with 12 shrimp of your choice of flavor and also a side of rice and crab mac salad. This is a cash only establishment but you can also use Venmo to pay. I love the portion and you can easily share it between two people. Lots of flavor in the sauce and a good amount of spice. “We were staying at the Courtyard and saw the parking lot next to the hotel filled with food trucks. Maui Shrimp happens to be one of them. We tried the Garlic Scampi and it was good. You can taste the garlic for sure. It would be good if they serve it with a side of spicy sauce“
