“Thank you. Our server, Brian, was very friendly, personable and professional. His menu recommendations were just what we wanted to enjoy a birthday celebration. The attendants refilled our water often and made sure we had everything we needed. Our meals were perfectly seasoned with wonderful tastes. Thank you Chef! The Banana Pudding birthday dessert was deliciously different. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect and the sunset magnificent. Mahalo again for making our celebration a great experience.“

“I was so excited to order the sea bass because I love sea bass but was so disappointed because the chef leaves the skin on the fish and it gave a very fishy taste which I dislike! It ruined my whole dinner. But the calamari was great and the chopped salad was wonderful.“

“We recently had our wedding at Gannons and it was AMAZING! We were blown away at how beautiful the ceremony site was (Molikini Lookout) as well as the reception site (Lower Lawn). Gannons was great to work with from the start! If you are looking to get married at Gannons we would HIGHLY recommend upgrading your ceremony site to Molokini Lookout, the view was breathtaking and the pictures do not do it justice!! We are so glad we decided to have our ceremony at Molokini Lookout. We were really happy with all the staff (especially the bartender, he was AWESOME!!). We did have a few hiccups with dinner and dessert. The crab cakes (appetizer) were to DIE for and everyone loved the salads. We were disappointed that the fish that was served along with the filet of beef for dinner was very fishy and not edible. The filet however was delicious. The timing of the meals was also disappointing. The salads were served quickly but the dinner course took quite a long time to come out after. We had guests asking where the dinner was. We also had the same issue with dessert, unfortunately. The dessert was not brought out until after last call was made (over an hour after dinner was finished) and less than 15 minutes before the wedding was over! We had decided to add the "chef selection of desserts" for our guests along with serving cake and unfortunately hardly any of our guest were able to enjoy any dessert since it was served so late. So, if you do decide to get married at Gannons (which we still recommend) we would suggest having a detailed timeline for courses and dessert to avoid what happened to us. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to choose Gannons for our wedding day!“

“Great place to eat. The food was tasty. The sunset from the poolside seating was amazing. I thought the multiple menus a bit much though. Prices were as expected for a restaurant in a resort setting. Parking is by valet and the restaurant validated it so that was a nice touch overall I was pleased with everything and would happily recommend dinning here.“

“We sat at the sushi bar on sat night. Waiter was so sweet, great at her newly modified job...(again) she introduced us to the sushi chefs and they all waved and threw shaka Our food was so epic, fast, tasty and well prepared. We had such an awesome experience. I love Isana and the ohana that get together each day to serve and help us have a great evening treat. I’m service industry on island and I appreciate so much being able to go out and see people in my field still smiling and making this work. Mahalo Isana Staff.“

“Loved their garlic shrimps. Side salad, taro mush potatoes, curry taste rice, and sauce were also good. It was a perfect size for me, but my husband said he wished for bigger portions. Shrimps didn't smell at all, so they must be pretty fresh. Eating area had a small covered area, so it was hot and windy.“

“Delicious food at comparatively lower prices. It's really hard to get good food around maui after 8pm. They close at 9 but they will take the order even at 8.50pm. The cajun rice tastes awesome. Even bengali people would like this rice. I took blackened salmon and ahi tuna with potatoes and coleslaw. The fish cut is big. They serve good amount of food. More than enough to fill your belly. If you love to eat rice a lot but you have selected 2 sides, ask for extra rice side. That combo was enough for me to cover 2 meals. Happy eating!!“

“The seasoning on the fish n chips was delicious! Service is fast and staff is great! I had cod fish n chips and my husband had Ono grilled fish tacos with sliced cabbage and sauce was amazing“

“The sad truth is that there is way too much bad fish in Hawaii. How can most of the fish be so mediocre. This chef does amazing work with the fish and shrimp. The flavor and texture was by far the best I’ve had on the islands. Served with a pleasant bit of salad and flavored rice. Yes a tad pricy (most of the island is) but frankly… worth it.“

“Some of the best Fish Tacos I’ve ever had. I come here multiple times every time I visit Maui because I love those tacos! Also, the French Fries are excellent here. And you should know a small size is probably big enough for two people. The large size of fries is freaking huge. I’ve also tried the Coconut Shrimp here a couple times and it’s very good. But the Coconut Shrimp is just like everywhere else. The fish tacos here, on the other hand, are kind of unique, with their creamy kind of slaw and topped as they are with a beautiful mango salsa.“

Parking: Plenty of parking but it's in a shopping district and near the beach so during peak times might be hard to park

The ramen was good when it was hot. Once it got cold, the noodles tasted like raw. I asked a smoothie of mango was really good.
And the dip of marlin was really good as well.“

“Definitely recommend this restaurant for its food and service. The menu is full of interesting pairings of proteins, vegetables and sauces. My husband started with kona kampachi (yellow tail fish) crudo, thinly sliced raw fish draped over cubes of beets sitting in an citrus soy sauce. He said it was light & excellent. As a main he had the chef's special of grilled octopus with mahi mahi also tasty and perfectly prepared. I had the coconut curry soup which was very flavorful and hearty. As a main I decided to try the venison. Who knew that deer are actually overpopulated on this island (certainly not me). The venison was exceptionally well prepared - medium rare and smoked. The chefs compote of blackberry & pineapple was a perfect pairing for the meat.“

The place was super busy but the food came quickly and every staff person was friendly and helpful. Not a place to miss if visiting Maui. There is something for everyone here and it’s all delicious!“

“This was our second visit to Gather in the past ten days. The ambience is quite and the views are outstanding....and comparable to views at the Kula Lodge. Short Ribs and Smash Burger with cesar salads were again our choice. We splurged and got the pineapple upside down cake which we had passed on earlier in the day at Hali'ilaimile Store. It is more than enough to share and was wonderful. If you are stauing in Wailae, this destination is a must“

“1st time my wife and I dined at Cafe O' Kihei. Great experience there. Front receptionist and waitress were friendly and courteous. Both our dinner meals were fresh, well plated and delicious.
We definitely will visit this restaurant again and again next time we vacation on Mau.

“Was hesitant to try this restaurant do to the 50/50 reviews, especially with so many negative comments about the wait staff. Being a former server, I am very picky and poor service will ruin a perfect meal for me. We decided to brave it since it was next to the harbor we had just returned by boat on. I 1st off can't say enough about the manager who immediately greeted us at the door and seated us, sweetest and most personable gentleman we've come across in a long time. Then there's our server, Erica....WOW! She was so upbeat, friendly, attentive and just an all around perfect lady! She made the best food and drink suggestions too. The view from the balcony where we sat was pretty and really relaxing after being on a boat in the sun all day. Drinks from the bar were seriously on point. Was a little nervous about our meal quality because it came out so fast, but it was absolutely amazing! My sister ordered the ribs, they are true to menu as they were fall off the none. My daughter had a bacon cheese burger, not just a plain burger, it was quality meat and very juicey. Husband got the clam chowder and coconut shrimp which he said the was the best he's ever had! I am a steak snob but braved the rib eye and let me just say that I had my leftover the next day and it tasted just as good cold a day later as it did fresh and hot on my plate! Can't say enough about our experience, we will be back for sure!“
