“The drinks are great, love the art on the menus, but I will say the Conrad Mai Tai which is a specialty at this bar feels overrated to me. It is a bit too alcoholic. The Moana Mai Tai at the restaurant next door is much better.

They have sushi nights sometimes, and the sushi is a solid average in NYC. Would eat, but not go out of way to get.“

But the best part was the amazing conversations we had with Pedro, he really helped us understand more about the Hawaiian culture and took the time to teach us more about the history of the Big Island.

“We had a wonderful dining experience at Beach Tree Restaurant at the Four Seasons Kona.

The service was exceptional from start to finish. We made a special request to the manager for an ocean-view table, and they graciously accommodated us, which made the evening even more memorable.

The food was absolutely outstanding. The pizza, pasta, fish of the day, chicken, and salad were all exceptionally delicious and beautifully prepared. Every dish exceeded our expectations.

The only area for improvement would be the timing from the kitchen. For some reason, the food took longer than expected compared to normal restaurant service standards. However, the quality of the meal and the outstanding hospitality more than made up for the delay.

Overall, it was a spectacular experience, and I highly recommend Beach Tree to anyone visiting Kona. We will definitely be back!“

“Low key open air tavern feel with great outdoor seating with view of the ocean across the street. Food is so so but not exorbitantly priced. Nice casual stop for a couple drinks if you want a view of the water without paying out the nose.

The geckos will eat your marachino cherry.

“Our family of 11 dined here on July 28th. We chose this restaurant as it was close to where we would be doing the Manta Ray Swim and where others that were golfing at Kona Country Club were close as well. The food was delicious. I think we had a little of everything at our table. Sweet chili wings, fries, Chicken Teriyaki, Seafood Pasta, Fish Tacos, are just a few of the items our crew enjoyed! Oh, and the Chocolate cake was amazing! Our sever, Cherlynn (I hoped I spelled it right) was absolutely outstanding! While we were at dinner our swim was canceled. We were a little bummed but her attitude, personality, and spirit was just what we needed! She truly has the kindest soul and a great resprentation of Aloha. Thank you for a wonderful experience. “Lots of bad reviews were warning me off, but I gave it a crack, like who wants to leave a resort anyway.
Burger was nice. Staff were attentive. 20 bucks for a burger in a resort to me sounds like good value.

Awa ( Hawaiian Cava)- was unique, it is made from the root of pepper plant . It is an acquired taste , so very glad we tried it. We drank our bowl.

CHICKEN LAU LAU- the greens , Butterfield combo was great. Kimchi being a good accompaniment. This was a good satisfying bowl of food. Comes with - purple sweet potato, greens butter fish n chicken, 2 balls of rice topped with furikake, kimchi.

Sweet potato in coconut milk- this was a disappointment. We couldn't eat it. The root veggie was bland, the coconut milk was not seasoned. I had eaten something similar to this in a luau with coconut cream and loved it. This dish here was sub par.“

“I love this place for happy hour. $2 off the mai tais, which isn't a lot, but they are sizable and delicious. Sitting by the swimming pool with the ocean in the background is the cherry on top. We got the wings with sauce on the side which were great... deep fried and crunchy.“
