“The drinks are great, love the art on the menus, but I will say the Conrad Mai Tai which is a specialty at this bar feels overrated to me. It is a bit too alcoholic. The Moana Mai Tai at the restaurant next door is much better.
They have sushi nights sometimes, and the sushi is a solid average in NYC. Would eat, but not go out of way to get.“

“The service, impeccable. The location and atmosphere, absolutely awesome. The food, delicious. We even got a world class sunset. It was our only one on a 12 day trip. The are a few other beaches to see the sun disappear directly into the water, but somehow the stars were aligned.“

“Super sick little Kava place. The whole vibe is like nothing in my town back home. I had a kalua pork plate and guzzled some coconut water and felt completely rejuvenated. The vibe is straight out of a movie. If you wanna post up at a chill spot come here. That pork broke tha mouth for sure homie 🙏🏼“

“Pedro was fantastic! Our entire family had a great time with different alcoholic and no-alcoholic drinks. But the best part was the amazing conversations we had with Pedro, he really helped us understand more about the Hawaiian culture and took the time to teach us more about the history of the Big Island.
I fully recommend anyone who wants to have a relaxing time to come to this bar!“

“Our family of 11 dined here on July 28th. We chose this restaurant as it was close to where we would be doing the Manta Ray Swim and where others that were golfing at Kona Country Club were close as well. The food was delicious. I think we had a little of everything at our table. Sweet chili wings, fries, Chicken Teriyaki, Seafood Pasta, Fish Tacos, are just a few of the items our crew enjoyed! Oh, and the Chocolate cake was amazing! Our sever, Cherlynn (I hoped I spelled it right) was absolutely outstanding! While we were at dinner our swim was canceled. We were a little bummed but her attitude, personality, and spirit was just what we needed! She truly has the kindest soul and a great resprentation of Aloha. Thank you for a wonderful experience. “Lots of bad reviews were warning me off, but I gave it a crack, like who wants to leave a resort anyway.
Burger was nice. Staff were attentive. 20 bucks for a burger in a resort to me sounds like good value.
$5 beer in happy hour.“

“Our family spent two weeks at the Kona Coast resort and had food and drinks several times at Sunset Terrace. What an absolutely great place. The wait staff of Chelsea and Jeannie were great. The food was reasonably priced and delicious and the drinks were always good. Highly recommend it for anyone staying at the resort needing a good meal, a delicious drink with beautiful sunsets and live music. We have owned several years at the KCR and this by far has been the best restaurant here. Thank you Sunset Terrace for making our vacation special. A hui hou🌴“

“We just enjoyed a beautiful sunset while we sipped a Maitai. Followed by a delicious Caprese appetzer and the entrees which included Egg plant parmigiana and Aloha Chicken and Build your own pasta. Our server, Emily, was very attentive and extremely professional. all in all we had an excellent experience hope you try it.“

“Had a great experience here last night. Came in for evening drinks, had mai thais and mojitos with ribs and fries. The drinks were delicious and tall glasses. The staff was really friendly and excellent. It wasn't super busy and the bartender made time to visit with us for a bit. The view and ambiance were exactly right. Not quiet but not too loud to talk and connect and have a date.“

“Staff was excellent and friendly. Fast service and on top of everything when it came to our food and drinks. Decor is cool and the food was excellent, plus the night we were there, there was live music which made us stay longer and get more drinks. Also a great spot for the sunset too!“
“Rolled up randomly a Monday night, we were the only ones but that made it even more fun. They had 3 HUGE books of songs to choose from. Staff was friendly and pricing wasn't bad. When I swing through Kona again I will definitely stop by.“

“I just found this place today. What a great location, high above the shopping center. The views go for miles. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp and a Raspberry Rita, which was so pretty, with the sugar rim. Friendly service & yummy food.“
