The rooms and grounds are nice. There is shopping and restaurants close. It is a bit of a drive to and from Kona, but that makes it more quiet than other resorts in town. There are some nice small beaches close to avoid crowds.
Travelled with 13 people (3 families) in total. Overall, it was a great experience. Booked two units via HGVC and one unit via RCI. All 3 rooms were Villas and they were able to put us all close really together. We were hoping to all be in the same Villa building, but that's not a big deal at the end of the day. We were pleasantly surprised upon arriving to our condo. We had a carport right outside our front door and the condo itself was spacious and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful and our lanai faced the golf course. There are shops nearby and the beach isn’t too far away.
