The view from the restaurant is gorgeous as it overlooks the lagoon and a waterfall. We saw fish jumping in the lagoon. We had omelettes and potatoes which came in generous portions. The kids had the 3 mini donuts which were a huge hit. They said that they were the best donuts they ever had. They were all both filled and frosted. The service was polite, prompt, and attentive enough. It is, like everything at resorts, very expensive. That is just something that needs to be anticipated.
We dined at the Waters Edge restaurant 3 times during our stay. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member so our continental breakfast was complementary, The full breakfast, including the omelet station is expensive, $40 for a full breakfast. As a Diamond member you can add the full breakfast for an extra $15, I did this twice, breakfast is similar to an Embassy Suites breakfast. Restaurant overlooks the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa lagoon.
