I don't know what kind of voodoo they do in the back, but this shave ice is almost creamy in texture..it's amazing. The syrups are all delicious as well..don't go if you're in a hurry, they run on island time!Vegetarian options: It's fruit flavored shave ice. They have hot dogs but, don't eat a hot dog if you're vegetarian..

In fact, we went back multiple times during our week in Kona. The wait can be a little long but totally worth it. The flavours didn’t taste artificial and the ice was so fine. Also, it was fairly reasonably priced and can be shared among two people!

First, be patient. You will wait a long time to order (45-90 minutes) and another 10-15 minutes after ordering before you get your shave ice. But it’s definitely worth it.
