Unbelievable atmosphere, friendly hosts and staff. If I had more time to eat; “Chef, Fire up Everything”! Mahalo!
Service was warm and welcoming and very attentive and it has a nice view of the resort. The food was just fine but not great and I ended up tossing my leftovers. The chicken Caesar wrap said on the menu that it was marinated garlic chicken but it was just your plain average Sysco quality, unseasoned chicken, lettuce and parmesan shreds inside a tortilla and they provided a side of Caesar dressing.

We shared the Brussel sprouts and bbq ribs w/lilikoi bbq sauce pupus. That plus a couple of cold beverages and a beautiful big island sunset made for a very pleasant evening in this hotel restaurant. 3/26 update - new menu meant no bbq ribs but we found the fish and chips and huli huli chicken to be excellent!

Hawaii Calls Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, especially during special events. The service is attentive, although it can be slow at times. The food is a highlight, featuring an extensive assortment of dishes that cater to various tastes. Locally inspired options such as loco moco, vegan curry, and malasadas, along with fresh local fruits, are not to be missed. The buffet includes a custom made omelet station, a large assortment of baked goods, seafood, prime rib, breakfast items, and delectable desserts. The macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi and ahi tuna poke were very good. The prime rib was tasty and tender, and the crab legs were a hit. The Kona mud pie and chocolate tart were outstanding desserts. The roasted cauliflower was delicious. The views are gorgeous, with beautiful sunsets and swaying palm trees. The menu was not thorough, so it is recommended to inform staff of any food allergies or sensitivities. The staff was attentive at first, then waited a while for the check as the evening got busier. Located in the Waikoloa Marriott, this open-air restaurant is a convenient option for guests.
