“A small basic type food place. The staff there were quite nice! Calm and inviting atmosphere. Clean tables and fast service make this a great place to stop. (Also had clean 1 person restrooms!)You can sit outside. Very very very casual but quite a perfect little place to eat.“
“It's hard to find good AUTHENTIC Mexican food on the island. Mi Taqueria Potosina is exactly what I needed. A friendly family owns the store. The portions are good sized and delicious! I ordered 3 tacos. 2 Asada and one shredded beef! WOW!! I got a bit of their red and green salsa on the side. The beef was amazing! The salsa was tasty! It's just what I needed!! They have a slightly different menu on Sunday with Menudo and quesa birria tacos with consume. I May be heading there for some of that today!!“
“With limited choices here in Kona, it’s nice to have a consistent. We love the food, service and chill atmosphere. Plenty of inside and out seating. Many people do to-go orders. Steak quesadilla and chicken chimichanga are delicious. Staff are always kind and helpful. Almost always a line and wait is usually under 20min.“
“This is a great spot for a casual dinner and if you are lucky enough to get a spot outside to eat, you will have a great view of the ocean and sunset. Had the spicy pork tacos which were delicious, just wish a little spicier and the sauce it comes with on the side isn't a spicy sauce at all, reminded me more of a salad dressing so I wish I would've substituted it with a spicer version. But nonetheless the atmosphere and service was great and would definitely come back.“
