Had both their chicken and ribs on the road to Hana and I'm so glad we stopped. Not only was the chicken delicious, but the ribs were utterly incredible! Huge, juicy, full of flavor, and amazingly tender, these genuinely were some of the best ribs I've ever had. Highly, highly recommend
Great Hawaiian plate lunch in a beautiful setting on the road to Hana. Open pit bbq using Hawaiian mesquite that gives an amazing flavor to the chicken and ribs. Friendly folks running the joint too—a must stop for the trip to Hana!
If you are planning to drive the Road to Hana, be sure to stop at Hana Hawaiian BBQ in Upper Nahiku at Mile Marker 29! These guys make some delicious food, and they are all so kind! The ribs are some of the best I have had (and I’m from the Midwest where BBQ is a staple! 😂) Aloha! 🌸🏝️
