There was a guy selling coconuts nearby (also cash only). He even breaks it and gives you a spoon made from the shell. Get one before they sell out though because we put it off and they were gone.

My family stopped here along the way to the black sands beach. We shared a rib plate between the 3 of us. I use the term share loosely because most of the ribs if you can call them that was inedible, and got thrown out. If you consider spare tires and rubber mats to be tender, then you are in luck and this place is for you. I can't comment on the chicken plate, but the ribs were absolutely terrible and the biggest waste money. The fellow working there was decent enough, but I would not recommend the food.

We stopped here on our way to Hana today. I didn’t catch their names, but the gentleman from Detroit and the Young Lady from Orange County were fantastic, and took care of a couple of Wyoming bums. We’ve been on the island for a couple of days, and have eaten at some high price places, and the ribs from this place were on par or even better than anything else we’ve had. Thanks guys!
This was a perfect stop on the Road to Hana for a meal! My husband and I shared a chicken plate and I’m so glad we did - it was plenty of food! It was served with rice and mixed steamed veggies. The food was delish!
Since there is no WiFi service, it a cash only as so many of the stops are so be prepared.
