Great views. Slow lunch service, didn’t have one of the two beers being offered.Nachos were terrible, they used low quality nacho cheese and guacamole from a bottle. Nothing was fresh. It’s hard to get something so easy so wrong.Views are great but it didn’t make up for the mediocre food.

We rented a place nearby and wanted to grab some dinner after a late check-in. We called in a take out order and brought it back to our place. Service was lovely, and the food was simply OUTSTANDING! We had salads, Brussels sprouts, ribs, and hands-down the best burger I’ve ever had…ever. We were not expecting such a fantastic meal last minute in Hana town. However, everything was so good, we would definitely come all the way out here just to get this meal again. Mahalo nui!

We rented a cottage nearby and walked over to The Restaurant around 8am on Easter Sunday. We were greeted by many friendly faces and got a seat right away with a great view. Drinks and food came quickly, service was impeccable. We ordered the breakfast sando which comes on a croissant and it was the best we have had. Bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese plus a juicy sliced tomato and smear of avocado. Everything was fantastic 10/10, will return.Parking: Easy parking in the lot just across the street

I am a huge fan of the Hana Hotel Restaurant. I called and made reservations over 5 weeks ahead to have dinner in the restaurant on Saturday November 19th at 5:30pm and BFast the following morning at 10:30 am. We arrived and were told the restaurant is closed and that we could eat at the Ranch Restaurant across the street. I like the Ranch restaurant too - but what a disappointment. We live in Kihei and this was our first weekend in Hana since before the pandemic. Why did they not tell me this? In the same call to make the dinner reservation I made a reservation for 10:30am on Sunday so we could enjoy our favorite breakfast before we headed back home. We arrived at 10:30 and were told the restaurant closed at 10am! Again - what??!! The staff just looked at me. No offer to let us get something to go just told us the Ranch Restaurant was open if we waiting another 45 minutes. So completely disappointed. We just drove home and stopped at the Kula Lodge for lunch. It is under new management but was ok. Lessons learned. I would never have guessed this would happen. I hope the restaurant reopens when they can for dinner and I will ask the hours and reconfirm the reservation before I travel. And I guess confirm where we would be eating.
