Coffee was excellent. No soy milk, but oat was an option. I got the breakfast burrito, sans eggs and cheese. Avocado toast and peanut butter toast (sans honey) were the only other vegan options. We got there a little before 8am on a Wednesday and the line wasn’t too long and moved quickly.
Breakfast sandwich was delicious.

Wow, the Brekkie Sandwich was by far the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Everything else we ate was delicious, too. Hanalei Bread Company should be a "must visit" for everyone who visits Kaua'i!

One of our favorite breakfasts on Kauai. Reasonably fast service, impeccable food, plenty of choices.
Highly recommend this spot for breakfast - the breakfast burrito and iced latte were both amazing. Don't skip this spot!

What an awesome coffee shop and bakery. We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday and it was packed, as expected. We waited around 15-20 minutes in line to order and another 10 minutes for our food. Totally worth the wait. Brekkie sandwich and ham and egg croissant were delicious, coffee and tea were great. We ordered a chocolate croissant to share and it did not disappoint. We had to be a little eagle eyed for a table, but were able to grab one that someone had just vacated right before we ordered. Island breeze in the late morning was perfect, lots of families and locals milling about. The Hanalei Market is a two minute walk down the sidewalk with lots of shops to visit nearby as well as the Ching Young Center across the street. Not a super extensive menu but plenty of other items we'd love to come back and try!
Parking: Free lot parking nearby and free street parking across the street as well as nearby

After waiting for 30 minutes with a 2 year old, they let us know that due to staffing shortages they wouldn’t be able to make our food. My friend was driving around with my 6 month old during this whole thing because we timed it for baby nap time to grab a “quick” to go breakfast. We waited for over 30 and left with no breakfast. I understand local businesses are having a hard time with hiring, and I feel guilt over writing a negative review based on that, however, I feel like they could’ve foreseen that food wouldn’t be able to be made in the next 30 minutes and could’ve closed earlier and stopped taking orders, or let me know earlier than 30 minutes after waiting.

Cute little cafe near Hanalei beach! Really delicious toasts, I had the olive and fromage blanc with egg on top - perfect for the savoury breakfast folks. My partner had a waffle with berries which was also very good. We tried a macadamia milk latte, good quality coffee. The staff was friendly and the environment is relaxed and cute. Would definitely come back to try other breakfast toasts!

This, my dudes, is where you want to get breakfast in Hanalei. Hanalei Bread Company has a solid menu with broad appeal. Great location in the heart of Hanalei. It gets busy but the friendly staff are efficient and do their best to minimize wait times. Tables are found on their patio or at covered tables on the lawn in front of the restaurant. If you eat out there, Kauai’s ubiquitous chickens will be your dining companions. All a part of the Kauai charm.
I got the Brekkie Sandwich and boy oh boy, it’s a winner. This is not a dainty breakfast sandwich. Loaded with tomato, greens, crispy bacon, and egg, it will sate your appetite. The flavors play well off each other too. The bread holds up well too. Loved this sandwich. My wife got the peanut butter toast and loved it. I can’t comment on it because in my book, peanut butter is straight from Satan’s pantry.
Highly recommend Hanalei Bread Company.
Parking: If you turn up later in the morning, parking might get tricky.

Get the breakfast burrito and thank me later! We went back a couple of times but the burrito was hands down their best meal they make. I don’t even like burritos.

Food was plentiful. Consider sharing unless you are really hungry for a big breakfast.
Wife had grilled cheese panini. Ate half. The rest for tomorrow. I ordered the breakfast burrito with the guacamole and salsa inside. A touch salty but I like it that way.
The mango/lilikoi spritzer was quite good. We will start making them at home.
All in all, a great experience, sitting outside in the Hawaiian air.

Coffee with alternative milks, vegan breads, smoothies. But no vegan baked good as description states. Cool vibe and outdoor seating.
