Went to this place for their mochi cake. It was gone by the time we got there. They told me that they ship to the mainland. I am looking forward to ordering online. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a ginger lemonade. Very refreshing and we could taste the real ingredients.

Our plate lunches were so onolicious! Best place to have Hawaiian favorites. Can't go wrong with #1 and #4! Will save our mochi cake for later!

this was the best lau lau i've ever had, and i've had a lot! the pork had so much flavor and i liked the amount of taro leaves they used. there's a small parking lot in the back and there's tables next to the truck to eat at. i would definitely come here if you like lau lau!

We loved our food here! I had the Taro burger with the hummus and it was super yummy and flavorful. Highly recommend and will be back next time we’re in Kaua’i.

We were looking for shave ice. It appears they no longer sell it.

Delicious and hearty food!We tried the fruit shake that is dairy-free. And what an amazing treat! The taro burger is delicious and fulfilling even for meat lovers.Top of my go-to list.Wish they were open more days.A wonderful local business to support and a great place to eat.We like to buy the taro hummus to take home and enjoy as a condiment on sandwiches, dip chips in or in burritos. My husband is not a poi fan but he loves The taro Patty and the taro hummus. This place is one of my favorites!Vegetarian options: Taro is a wonderful vegetarian option. If you've never tried it, this is the place to try it!Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy and gluten-free options available.Parking: Shared parking with the wishing well shave ice and other stores.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly outdoor picnic table dining.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible path and seating.

I have never had poi, but heard the horror stories. After having it here, I think people are crazy. Poi is great, and these guys are masters at making it so!

If you're in the Princeville area, this is a must try spot! We came here two days in a row because we loved the food here. Be sure to check their hours online; we heavily relied on it to know when to go. Our faves: kalua pork, Mac salad, and their taro cake!

I ordered in advance and picked up. Lyndsey was great at communicating via e-mail. This is a food truck but there is some outdoor seating under a tent. I did not eat there and took food back to the hotel. Got to try a diversity of dishes - bbq pork sandwich, taro sandwich, smoothie, kulolo and mochi cake. What I didn't expect (I should have done research in advance) was the kulolo being super sweet and rich. I got a large size and it was way too big. I ended up bringing it back to the mainland. There was a problem going through TSA. The kulolo was the one that set the machine off lol. Just FYI if you want to travel with kulolo to ship it if possible.
