Extremely charming place with friendly service and delicious food. We ordered poké bowl, house salad and fish tacos after full day of hiking. Everything was very fresh, full of flavor and the portions were big. I highly recommend Kalypso if you are visiting Kauai!

Pleasantly surprised. Seating and service were quick given the full house. The kahlua pork quesadillas and mahi mahi tacos were a bit bland but with salsa and hot sauce, made a pretty solid meal. Good price for the portions.

We had the seafood soup, coconut shrimp, onion rings, Pina colada and Gold Cliff beer. The food is really good and affordable compared to some of the other restaurants in the area. The service was fast and our waitress was on it. If you want good food and a relaxed bar style atmosphere this is a good place.

A wonderful experience all around! Our waitress was amazing and gave the best recommendations. The lychee cocktail, shrimp nachos, and entrees (ahi and mahi mahi) were great. The service was also great when a chicken flew and grabbed our nachos!- they were immediately replaced. Overall, the service, food, and setting were amazing! Highly recommend.

After a very short wait, we were sat in the main dining area. The atmosphere was fun and lively. Our server was very friendly and provided suggestions on the menu. When the food arrived, it was hot looked appetizing and tasted delicious. Great spot for the entire family for dinner.
Mahi tacos were fantastic. Waitress recommended and she was spot on. Great service and cool atmosphere.

OMG! One of the best burgers I've ever had ?This tiny place has a few seats indoors and a few tables out back. Everything looks tidy and clean, although ants are quick to find you outside unless you're careful not to spill/leave any food/sauce on the table.Ants are plentiful around here, that's a fact. Personally I'd rather take appropriate measures to deal with the ants than breath poison. You can also take the food to go. Really awesome burgers! The fries were also very nice. Service was enthusiastic and friendly. I loved this tiny restaurant in spite of its little battle with nature, lolParking: The parking lot is small (holds 10 cars, maybe). When we first arrived there was no spot open. We looked for parking nearby but decided to go look at the Kenji parking lot again. In just those few minutes almost all the cars were goneKid-friendliness: There is a big grassy area out back where kids can run around if they get restless
