The ice cream was amazing and the service of the employee working front of the house was amazing. He was very polite and kind and kept a level head despite how busy it was and some confusion with the orders and did really well. The reason I left a one star for the atmosphere is because the person who was cooking in the back of the house continuously kept snapping at him and making snide remarks at him for making an honest mistake when accidentally mixing up the orders. The Hawaiian grilled cheeses were perfection after a solid beach day and the shakes were soooo good to wash everything down. Grabbed some cool merch and will be back many times during our stay in Hanalei.
I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The owners are amazing people and the grilled cheese and Ice creams are magical. Definitely try the Coconut and macadamia brittle ice cream, you won’t regret it. Also one of the owners told me he braises the pork himself and it shows! Goes great on a grilled cheese with or without pineapple ?
