Highly recommended by the @rumguys, we visited thus place while in Hanalei. In a word, fantastic! The food is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. You will live this place if you are in Hanalei.

Lots of solid food choices, especially if you’re looking for pizza (gf and DF options were stellar). We had a great waitress and it’s a fun ambiance. For the price, location and desire for a pizza after a full days worth of activity, I would definitely go back. Only downside is that their mai tai’s (which they call world famous) are just Mai tai’s. No better or worse than anywhere else.

We were told that its the best authentic Hawaiian live music every night here. It turned out to be the worst experience on the all Hawaiian islands we visited. The stuff had no idea when live music starts, then we stayed on the waiting line forever to get sited and stayed forgotten when they actually texted us “its ready for you “ (???) like no one really cares about costumers here. The live “ music”??? if you can call it that name was thousands miles away from HawaiiPlease stay away from this place

The Music was to loud, impossible to have a conversation. The food was edible but not good. McDonald’s or Burger King are much better. And the the prices are totally inflated. The restroom (the toilet) was in a catastrophic condition.Parking: Öffentlicher Parkplatz auf der anderen Straßenseite

The food and our waiter were really good. However, the front door staff were extremely rude to the couple who arrived before my family and me. I’m still not sure what I did to warrant such rudeness.

For a true local experience this is a must stop. This is our second visit after seeing Tahiti Nui in the Descendants. Definitely the best Mai Tai's!!! The shrimp is top notch as is the catch of the day which was Ono. Definitely try the purple potatoes!!!Parking: This place is very popular, plan ahead and if you have to park down the street do it!

We were very disappointed in the luau. The staff is all very friendly and earlier we had an excellent time in the bar, but the food at the luau was so over-salted that I couldn’t even eat it. I can’t understand after all the recommendations and positive reviews how this happened - maybe it was just an off night. But beyond the food quality the drink selection was quite limited. For those who don’t want a mai tai there are well drinks, but red wine drinkers have to settle for Pinot Noir. We ended up going out to the main bar to buy drinks of our choice, and were scolded by the hostess for not checking in with her first. After spending over $800 to get to a luau where we couldn’t enjoy the food or the drinks, the entertainment (perhaps the only good thing about the experience) just didn’t really make up for it. There was music before the food was served, but during the lengthy table-by-table process of going up for food there was not, as the musicians set up for the dancing show. By the time we gave up on the food, we were ready to get out of there. If you want to feel like you’re attending a stranger’s wedding at the VFW for $125+, give it a shot.
