Amazing pizza and was quite surprised that it was this good. Just had the cheese. I would rate a 7.8 on Portnoys scale. Great sauce, excellent undercarriage, no flop. Crust was crisp on outside and soft and little chew. Great job KO Pizza, I want more now.
I grew up in New Jersey and lived in NYC (in the West Village) for 4 years. Since I moved away I’ve missed the pizza. Thin crust, but crisp, wide enough to fold, perfect ratio of sauce to cheese to toppings, and all of it (crust, tomato sauce, cheese) delicious. K.O. Pizza was the most authentic NY style pizza I’ve had outside of NYC. I’m going back again tomorrow! K.O. Pizza Restaurant is a true gem. The staff is extremely friendly, kind, and works hard to feed everyone with humor and laughter. The pizza is delicious, with some of the best pizza on the island: NY-style pizza with vegan options, thin crust and perfectly crispy with good sauce. Garlic knots are awesome and worth the wait. The beer selection is fabulous. The ambiance of the storefront is very nice, with chill vibes and a great environment. It is nothing complicated, just good pizza and a good selection of beers. Definitely worth a stop, and check out their food truck for other locations on the island. Don’t miss this place for lunch if doing the Pololu Trail hike or in North Kohala.
