We found this place while ziplining in Hawi, and our friends came back saying it was the best ice cream they’d ever had. That felt like a bold claim, but after trying it ourselves, they were right. The ice cream was unbelievably creamy and full of flavor.
I rarely review food, but this was exceptional. The young lady helping us offered samples, suggested flavors, and made us feel completely at home.
I can’t speak more highly of Our Founding Farmers Ice Cream.

Delicious ice cream! Some of the most unique and fun flavors I’ve ever had. I chose the star fruit ice cream because of a sample, and was shocked. I’m not a fruity ice cream gal, but that was amazing. We had a good experience with the owner and other worker. I see some reviews have had issues, but that was not the case for us. We didn’t use the bathroom, though. It was good conversation while he gave us any sample we wanted.

This is EASILY the best tropical ice cream I have ever had, and the atmosphere is outstanding and unique. The employees are fun and generous with samples, each menu item has a unique illustration, and everything is freshly hand-made in-house. This fine establishment is now somewhere I plan on visiting in future visits to Hawai'i.
