Open early to get breakfast and lunch...best VEGGIE OMELET WITH CHEESE & FRY RICE.
Picked up a bento at j. Haras, took a bite out of the chicken, and that’s as far as I got. Terrible food. Bad aftertaste. Didn’t even touch the rest after trying the chicken. 1 star does no justice to how awful this was.

Love affordable catering, you know they will always have something good to eat every time! Pretty much a mandatory stop when visiting Hilo!
Good food fast service
While Yen's at the other corner has the best manapua in Hilo, Affordable has the best inari, the orange tofu wrapped sushi. I like their lunches and take out bentos, but the inari is really exceptional. Big juicy succulent inari, can't be beat!
Best mom and pop place to eat.
We enjoy the food because it has local flavor, it's made with care and like what Auntie always made! Local tasty home style food, and also some special occasion delicious food too!
