Really amazing no-frills korean food! We got the kalbi combo plate with calamari. The kalbi was so tender and flavorful and the calamari was very light, the tempura was not greasy and the squid was not rubbery or overcooked.The food is a very generous portion and comes with four sides/banchan. My favorites were the eggplant and japchae(korean style glass noodles)Very tasty food at great prices, and the staff are very friendly too. Will definitely return!

Delicious Korean food with a selection of banchan (side dishes) that you can pick from. There's limited seating and most people were taking out. The man at the counter was kind and friendly and the food was tasty. I got the fish chun and chicken katsu combo. Yum yum.

I arrived from Phoenix yesterday and looking for something i haven't had in a long time here in Hilo. This has to be some of the best KBBQ ive had in a very long time. Although it may be a small place and mosly take out this is very delicious food. And yes I'm a foodie so I highly recommend! Great job Arirang Korean Kitchen you deserve this rating!

I'm a big spicy pork fan and Arirang's version is my all time favorite so far. It's perfect, especially paired with the kalbi. My wife got the bibimbap and it was fantastic. 10/10 this is my new favorite plate lunch spot in Hilo.

Ordered a Meat Jun plate that came with 4 side dishes. Unbelievable amount of food!! Gobo, seaweed, cucumbers and kim chee all very tasty. Really got my money's worth since it fed me 3 times

Everything at Arirang is delicious and very reasonably priced. They have pick up bentos and hand rolled sushi that vary day to day. We love local style Korean food and this place doesn't disappoint. Service is quick and the gentleman at the front is really patient and kind.
