“Mahalo nui au i nā wāhine o ka Papa'a Palaoa Bakery ma Hilo, Hawai'i. They assisted me in providing a whole lilikoi pie to bring home to San Francisco. They fully wrapped the box in plastic to keep the pie protected, so I could then place it in an insulated bag and surround the box with frozen ice packs. The pie (as well as a cinnamon roll) made it back home just as "hou" (fresh) as when I purchased it, me ka pilikia ole (with no problems), and the pie tastes 'ono loa. I am very grateful for their assistance, and especially their kindness. I highly recommend this bakery to everyone who wants fresh baked goods, but most of all, I am very grateful to the Aloha given by their employees. Mahalo nui loa!!“

“They make the most delicious macarons, in a wide variety of flavors! The cupcakes are delicious, too, especially if you like yummy frosting. They have other tempting desserts as well! The staff is always friendly and helpful. 😋“

“Oh my gosh…. Everything here was sooo good! We came in for brunch all had sandwiches. I got the Malibu… it was impressively delicious and bigger than expected. The sandwiches are a bit messy, but worth it! I grabbed a couple cookies on my way out; snickerdoodle and peanut butter. Both cookies were enormous and some of the best cookies I’ve had in a long time! Prices were reasonable, service was fast and friendly. There are maybe 10 tables inside and a few outside, and plenty of parking. I will definitely be back and I’ll surely bring all visiting friends and family here.“
“There will probably always be a line because it's soo good and they sell out fast enough. Totally worth waiting tho and will be back! There's a reason there's so many loyal costumers and I hope they don't change a thing
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options and gluten free even!“

“We stopped by the booth at the Friday night market in Hilo. We tried the pecan sandies cookies, the decadent chocolate cupcakes, the Mexican brownies and the carrot cake cupcakes and omg they were all delicious! More than ample sizes for the price as well. I’ve found a great place for my sweet cravings!“
“Several choices of delicious, fluffy bread, as well as butter mochi, and rice cake! Would recommend their Ube Hawaiian Rolls. Super cheap for the quality and taste.Surprised how few reviews this place has. I also saw them at the Maku'u Farmer's Market and I believe they attend other markets.Would consider this a hidden gem and highly recommend visiting!“

“Rumor around town was that there were 2 Ladies creating a buzz. They've been around for a while putting smiles on people's faces. Locals and tourists alike kept talking about these Two Ladies in the Kitchen. A song came to mind, "Hey, good lookin',... sweet baby... what you got cookin'?" & OMG these Sweat Treats are Delicious!!! I have to confess, my only experience with Mochi Mochi, a Japanese rice cake, is the Trader Joe's version. Now, don't get me wrong... TJ's has a good Mochi IceCream delight. However, once you taste the Authentic Mochi (もち, 餅) delights and the creative variations from Two Ladies Kitchen, you'll understand why all these people are raving about them.
