If you have ever heard the saying - don’t judge the book by it’s cover, this place was a prime example of it.Authentic delicious Thai food with huge portions and quick service. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stumbled on this wonderful restaurant on Thanksgiving - one of the only places open - and we were amazed at the quality of curry!

Great food. Massive portions. Not pictured are the summer rolls we devoured before remembering to take the picture. It's off the trail a bit from the shops but definitely worth it.

Walked up to order and no one greeted just stood there until I said something. Confusing layout, the door is now a window? Anyways, the guy that took my order wasn't very nice. Doesn't say thank you or you're welcome. Asked for some sauce and he gave literally 1 sauce packet. Super stingy. Everything's way overpriced and it's the lowest quality thai food I've ever had. Save your money and go elsewhere. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. BAD BUSINESS.

One of the cheaper better Thai cafes out there. $14 for one Curry and Jasmine rice!! The Thai-hot wasn't that hot though.... Was still good.

Owners are from north eastern Thailand known for some of the best Thai dishes. Their ability to duplicate the delicious north eastern cuisine is remarkable. Absolutely some of the best Thai food I’ve had in my life!

I loved it!! The spice level is way better than a lot of other places I went to and was actually spicy. There were many vegetable in the Pad See Ew which we appreciated and the service was pretty quick. :)) Place is a little hard to find, we almost missed it, but glad we found it. We came in with low expectations and left with big smiles! ?

Not the most pleased with my experience. My tofu pad kaprao was pleasantly spicy as I requested, but I struggled to find much else going on with the flavor. The fairly scant portion for the price compared with the competition in town, and the lukewarm treatment I got at the window, did not help sell me on returning either. In my opinion there are several better (thai) options mere minutes away.

Great food! Their red curry and sticky rice is our go-to. Very friendly Aunty, very small business. We've only had take-out here due to the Pandemic, but they may open up their seating again soon.

As vegetarians who enjoy Thai food, we were delighted to find this restaurant. The vegetable stir fry was very fresh with a great combination of veggies. We enjoyed the light sauce on the tofu pad see ew and the summer rolls were some of the best we've ever had.

Basic. Inexpensive. Good. This is the 4th time I've been here, and I find the food to be okay each time. The portion size is okay, the seasoning is okay, and the appearance is okay. That being said, I didn't find it to really be anything more than a very inexpensive quasi-Thai food. This really should be called Thai Inspired Chinese food. It's truly NOT actual Thai food. The seasonings are far from real Thai food, the ingredients are inexpensive incorrect close-but-not-actual things that would be used in real Thai. For instance, my Pad See Ew had Cauliflower :( and regular American Broccoli flower heads in it. :( Overall, if you just want inexpensive Asian food and not really looking for real Thai food, this place will do fine. Just think of the food as Generic Asian and you'll be okay. Lastly, the dining and service is okay. It's nothing spectacular, and I certainly wouldn't come here to impress anyone. I'm also advising against tourists to not come here, as I know the mainland has MUCH better and true Thai everywhere I've been on the mainland. I would suggest to go here only if every other Thai place in Hilo is closed or too busy. 3 Solid Stars. Just Okay.
