Simple, unassuming restaurant with the BEST, highest quality, outstanding, DELICIOUS loco moco! This is a staple, daily stop for us in Hilo. To not eat here when on the big island would be criminal! My fave is the spam loco!
Really glad I stopped by for some loco moco. They have a huge menu and the prices aren't too bad. Was surprised that the standard loco moco fits neatly inside a relatively small container, but it was great. The katsu was also really good. Was surprised that there are tables inside, but I didn't realize it's a takeout place with seating instead of a full service restaurant.
Had to have the original Loco Moco! I got the Super Loco: hamburger, spam and sausage! Yummy! Rest of the family enjoyed different versions of burgers. Also had strawberry sherbet and sweet pastry (forgot the name), both good.
