I wanted to see what all of the hype was about Korean corn dogs. Korean corn dogs have a batter that is made of rice flour and fried in hot oil, so they are very crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, like fried mochi. Some of them have little cubes of potato mixed into the batter so they are like crispy French fries on the outside.I was very excited to find out that "Corn Dogs by Mr. Cow" in Hilo has Korean corn dogs and wanted to try them while I have the opportunity....

One of the better potato Korean rice dogs I’ve had! Most of the time, the potato ends up semi-cooked, and now I know why: the mozzarella at Mr. Cow ended up liquified, meaning that the satisfaction gained from the crispy potatoes was lost in the lack of cheese pull… still delicious all around, would definitely return to try more flavors!
