Value, refreshing, and delicious. Mango smoothie was buttery and tasted more like a mango than eating the fruit. Threw it in the freezer and 3 hours later, it had the consistency and taste as fresh.
First, food is excellent! They do a very nice job, make it fresh and the place is very cool...right next to two other food counters, also right around the corner from the market. One is Thai, very good as well and another acai bowl place which we also love. I took a star because of the hours, twice now we have gone wanting this and they are closed?? Both times were within what they say open on here, but nothing there but a closed sign, frustrating because we love the food.
We stopped at Dragon Kitchen after taking a trail ride north of Hilo. It was one of the few sushi places without split hours, and since we arrived in town about 2pm most spots were closed or closing. No drama - we looked up reviews on TripAdvisor, and followed the 5/5 ratings. Dragon Kitchen did NOT disappoint. I had the Warabi (Fern rolls. Yes fern.
