This is the best sushi I have ever had in my life. The staff was so nice. they recommended me squid to try which i never had before, but it was awesome. Atmosphere is so nice because you get to go out and joy the fresh air. If you are in Hilo, I recommend stopping here.

Great food and nice staff. I rated the atmosphere low because there is nothing here to enjoy it's a grab and go without a single table. Best to order ahead. With that being said, it's very reasonably priced and high-quality sushi. I have visited this place many times and taken my family as well. Don't miss a chance to eat here.

Great sushi at a really fair price! Everything is freshly prepared on site, you can practically see the chef doing it. It seems to be exclusively food to-go, but that doesn't bother me at all. We actually ate the 30 pieces menu as a couple and were pleasantly full. I can really only recommend it.

So I ate my food before leaving a review ? devoured better said. Ordered 8 rolls, 1 shrimp nigiri and 2 edamame for husband, 2 girls and myself. I was early to pickup my order and I was helped asap. Only waited 5 more minutes. I picked up two refrigerated drinks and ordered a side of white rice while at pickup. All food ordered was delicious and fresh. Our favorite was the Akebono roll and eel roll. Yum! Price was awesome, keep in mind the rolls are fairly small but the flavor is all there. The drinks were also spot on as far as temp. I would visit and recommend this local sushi spot 10/10!

Take out only,at the moment,great presentation, friendly staff and taste great. I happened to park outside of the restaurant and was wondering what to get the family eat after shopping. I saw the special 30 pieces of sushi for $20 something and wound up getting it and 2 other crunchy rolls for my ride home. Extra fresh and delicious. I definitely will be back and recommend to anyone looking for great food,value and authentic taste of Hilo. Mahalo guys?
